Yan Huang, a web design, e-commerce, and online marketing specialist, is giving away a $25 Amazon gift code to one of his Twitter followers. All you have to do is follow him on Twitter and then make a post on his official forums to enter the contest. Pretty simple and quick and who doesn't like Amazon gift cards? Chances of winning this will probably be pretty good depending on how many/how few enter.

Why this get thumbed down? People don't like Amazon gift cards anymore? Chances of winning this are way higher than most of the stuff you see on this board.

I have no idea, but perhaps...because the website in question looks sketchy and they are trying to warn other people about entering. Seems somewhat probable. Or perhaps the rules being ill defined? Or again perhaps because they have been spammed by the site in the past?

I will be honest, took a look at this one and just thought twice about it.

Don't let that get you down, even if its a questionable contest--appreciate you making an effort.

Thanks for the feedback. The guy who runs that site, Yan Huang, is featured on the first page of reviews.com and has a five star rating so he is definitely legit. He's an internet marketer.

I didn't vote it down, but SlickDeals expressly forbids posting anything self-promoting, ie. if you have any connection whatsoever with the giveaway. The fact that you posted the giveaway on that site and not "Yan Huang" does seem to suggest you have something to do with it.

You might want to clear up any details like that, SD can be pretty brutal to members that break that rule if it gets reported.

Be happy your guys didn't take the time - I was told I won two weeks ago, then now he won't respond to Tweets, E-Mails and deletes any Facebook posts I put up asking where my GC is. Total Scam and Waste of Time. Any advise from anyone how to handle this? I'm about ready to blog about this guy.

I love how you say he's legit, then never followed through with the prize.
