I went outside on our porch...and there is a big ass spider web covering a whole lot of it. Below is an illustrated picture of me, the web and the spider. Please...try not to be too in awe of my awesome drawing abilities.
I'd take a picture but it's too dark to really see how big the web is.
Update: After moving to several different locations on my porch..I am saddened to report that the spider found his final resting place under our porch (where we walk out of our basement). He made a very large web...and after watching it for several days..he has not moved and he does not appear alive.

Last night I was getting ready for bed and noticed my make up case was webby. I thought WTF...(yes I did)...because I just cleaned the whole bathroom and house a few days ago...then I thought..crap...it must be in my make up case!
Sooo I zipped it up and just then I looked on my counter and there it was! an ugly wolf
So I grabbed a couple of tissues and squished him up and tossed the wad into the toilet and shut the lid.
After I went into my room and got my jammies on...laid in bed and thought...what if I didn't kill him when I did the squish???
Of course I went back in and looked..and sure enough...there he was...standing on top of the floating tissues...just waiting!
So I flushed his arse!
Oh gosh..Wolf spiders are HUGE! I probably would have taken the makeup case outside...set it on the lawn and ran back inside
I can't believe he survived the squishing and being thrown in the toilet. Seriously...holy cow!

In our basement..when we first moved here..we had an exterminator come and he said there were over 60 of them down there (most were dead) SIXTY!! It's a walk out basement too so I was surprised there were so many.
Is this the first one you've seen in your house?

The web is way too high. But the web is just strings now and it's just hanging from it. I'll just have to assume it's dead. Though watch me go out tomorrow and it'll be gone. Blast it
