bring them to the beach where LOTS of people have tattoos. point out the older ones and use terms like patina copper and prison tats.

job done.

that's ok Smilie

jimmy thinks he is doing quite well with his understanding of everything that has to do with his life. He doesn't need to try and impress someone on the interweb.

I think I found your problem

For real.
I have a co-worker who has a ton of tattoos. Really nifty ones. But I didn't know about them for the longest time because he always wears long sleeves and such at work. I never saw them until people were talking to him about them one day.

[Though I guess many people have tattoos that are pretty visible, and do not cover them up all the time.]
Exactly. Whenever someone asks me what my grandkids will think about them when I'm old and they're all saggy (not that that really happens), I just ask them how many tattoos their grandfather had. I mean who sees their grandparent shirtless? I never saw my granddad without a shirt on. I couldn't tell you if he had 0, 1, or 100 tattoos. And really, what kind of person at that stage in life really cares what people think about them? Crazy

I am. Thanks for noticing.

Or maybe talking in the third person doesn't work out for you so well.

Frogstar disagrees, if Jimmy feels the needs to look down his nose at others for making decisions on what to do with their lives that don't affect Jimmy's life, and that Jimmy isn't confident in his child-rearing skills if Jimmy feels the need to belittle others to get Jimmy's children to live the way Jimmy wants. However, Jimmy is entitled to his beliefs.

Also, fark Jimmy.

nod
Though I never saw my grandfathers at all. But I agree, I never saw my great-grandfather without a shirt on.

I think I'd like to get a little tattoo some day, but I'd probably chicken out Smilie Maybe my fiance and I can get matching tattoos on our honeymoon.
When we went to Cancun for his sister's wedding we all got fake tattoos. The same one, and every one of us got it laugh out loud Parents, siblings, friends, and the bride and groom. So maybe we should get the same one we got before - but this time permanent! bulb

I love it that some many people have tattoos these days. Makes it easier to spot losers from a distance.
For me it just lets me know that the person makes bad decisions in life and is a bit "off". Especially if they try putting it in a place were others can see it, it says worlds about them. Of course, I wouldn't hire them! shake head

That's what I mean... a bit off! You must have a tattoo don't you? Point proven. nod

What am I supposed to thing of someone that gets their back tatooed with a big dragon? Am I supposed to think: "Wow, that's someone I can put trust into!". Obviously you have mental issues if you think that dragon on your back is cool or says: "high character" about you.

Its like when the Nazis used to put the star of David on jews to let eveyone know of their belief system the same are like tatoos to me. It lets me know the person has a tad bit of crazy in them. Thanks for stamping yourself at least I'll know right away. Don't need to waste my time. laugh out loud

I know, it's certainly easier than trying to assess someone based on their skill set and abilities. You just keep on hiring based on superficial things, I'll keep hiring based on who the person is, and I'll keep coming out ahead nod

Usually the people who make statements like that are not the ones in a position of any power anyway. They do not have real world experience to back up their "claims".
