amazon closed my account

Got a email that amazon closed my account, due to recieving a refund on 2 orders I returned due to the items were not working so they closed my account, and I had a lot of money in my account still from my surveys, now im out so much money, does anyone know how I can get my money I contacted them and they said I maynot be able to get it backConfused

I didn't think amazon would do that just bc you return items back and get refuned.. why does amazon do that when a person want to reture items that isn't working or damages. does happen often that a person want return items back to get refuned?.. what if it's was damages or no longer working n you contact seller via amazon explaining to a person would that get your account banned?

Curious...how much were the returns? I have heard of accounts being closed on returns of big ticket items. How close together were the refunds?

Not sure if it's still in practice or not but I know you could only make one return every certain number of months. I've returned two items before but it was over a two year period.

Were you nasty with the seller by chance? Explain more please Smilie

You should certainly call them. My guess is that one or both of the sellers claimed that the items worked perfectly. You can file a BBB report

or threaten to do so; they have an A+ rating, which means that they overwhelmingly cave in to those who report.

I've returned 5 items this past year, perfume (2) shoes(2) and an mp3 player and havent had any mention of amazon closing anything.

i agree with everyone here, did you speak to a supervisor yet? i have returned stuff and never had my account closed, sounds fishy especially if you still have money in your account

i agree there have been many a scam lately people posing as companies and it is not true, etc., i had an issue with someone not to long ago and they had me forward the email to them and lo and behold it was not them.
