The *official* "Screw you Bill Belichick, get the hell out of my favorite sport, you're ruining the game" thread about the lack any New England Patriots sportsmanship (Now w/ POLL)

24,865 1,948 October 28, 2007 at 05:44 PM in Rant
Quick open letter to the head coach of the Patriots:

Dear Mr. Bill,

You're the head coach of the best team in football, congratulations on your tremendous efforts. Now fark off and leave the sport to those that do not just consider it simply a business because you're sucking the fun out of the game and ruining this sport for not only fans of the teams you embarass, but kids that are learning about something you seem to totally lack: sportsmanship.

Its easier to explain Janet Jackson's floppy booby during a wardrobe malfunction than the planned and continued deliberate actions taken by the players under your direction. Sure its your job to win games, are you not good enough to do it without constantly skirting the rules, using deception and just out and out farking cheating? You're a dirty, unkempt, embarassment to the game.

Get the hell out of the sport.

Sincerely,
- Fans of the NFL and the ultimate purveyors of your salary
Against which team would Tom Brady most likely suffer a career-ending injury?

New poll should be "Will the Patriots ever win another Super Bowl with Bill Belichick as head coach?"

dude, i can't be blamed for thinking that Belichick is full of shit when i see a Probable next to a player's name laugh out loud that's what i'm trying to say, he lists everyone that way, so i wasn't concerned that the guy wouldn't actually be in the game today! any other team, i would take it seriously, but with the Patriots? pfft, you can't trust it at all.

and seriously, i'm a huge football fan - i've never heard "pass rush" before - that just seems like an oxymoron. how do you pass if you are rushing? how do you rush if you are passing? aren't they two separate events? laugh out loud

I'm just happy this farce of a "streak" is finally over. I was sick and tired of hearing about this home streak that needed the "regular season" caveat because the Jets and Ravens BOTH waltzed into Foxboro two years in a row and kicked their asses. Somehow those wins didn't count and the Pats still had a "streak" going.

Just stop talking, you're not a football fan if you don't know what pass rush means.

fark you for saying i'm not a football fan! passing, rushing - both offensive things. so when i hear pass rush, i assume it's an offensive thing, but that doesn't make sense to me...so i was confused. i didn't know what it meant, now i do, and i understand - kiss my grits Tongue

Yea, but he isn't going to mess around and get more fines for that. It was awesome when he put the whole team as probable though..Rofl2

Pass Rush is not anything to do with offensive, it's about the Defense's ability to get pressure on the opposing teams QB.

/sorry that JM hates me because her fantasy team sucked today, be glad it wasn't your real team..MadLMAO

Yea, IDK wtf is going on with them this season. They just aren't with it. Belichick might be out running his course. Won't be surprised if he's gone next season, like Theo and Francona...Boston likes to gets rid of the guys when the teams start to suck..Dontknow

Hopefully they will step up second half of the season, but they can't keep playing this way, too many better teams in the NFL this year. nod

i'm cross-posting this because i'm that pissed off Blowup

the Patriots are such assholes when it comes to reporting injuries for players. wait, let me clarify - Bill Belichick is a complete asshole when reporting injuries for players. he got hit with a stupid fine a few years back for not saying someone was possibly inactive due to the flu (or some other ailment equally as lame) - and ever since then, he has listed every single player as "Probable" each week, in order to avoid a stupid fine again.

this week, Kevin Faulk was listed as Probable, then downgraded to Questionable. knowing how Belichick operates, i just assumed he was downplaying the RB's status (since this would be Faulk's 2nd week back after being out over a year with a knee injury) - and i left him in the game expecting he'd still be the starting RB and he'd help out my fantasy team.

after the 1pm games started today, Kevin Faulk was downgraded (again) to Out and since the games had already started, i was unable to pick up anyone to replace Faulk.

Screw. You. Bill. Belly. Chick. Ugly. Nazi. Punk. Bomb

PS - i'm happy that Manning2 put you in your place. at home. Blowkiss
its like starting a shannahan rb. you need to read as much as possible. the injury list is for gambling purposes only. not fantasy.

i've been saying it for awhile. belichick/pioli nailed a few drafts/off seasons that lead them to 3 superbowl wins. they still have some pieces, like wilfork/light/brady. outside of that.. the drafts have been horrid. they could have stayed where they were and taken good players. or they could trade back and get more bad picks.

same thing is happening to the colts.. they haven't had a good draft since 2005. that's why they're 0 and whatever since manning is gone.

Just be glad that your NFL team didn't get beat by an "elite" QB like Eli. What's next? Suffering a 4th quarter comeback from Tebow?

i think the bigger problem was you're relying on kevin faulk....is your league really that deep that there's noone better than a 3rd running back on the patriots?
I mean kevin faulk's basically a 3rd down running back, behind the law firm and woodhead.
Why would you dig that far down in the depth chart.

Or do you really not understand football that much?
