The *official* "Screw you Bill Belichick, get the hell out of my favorite sport, you're ruining the game" thread about the lack any New England Patriots sportsmanship (Now w/ POLL)

Quick open letter to the head coach of the Patriots:

Dear Mr. Bill,

You're the head coach of the best team in football, congratulations on your tremendous efforts. Now fark off and leave the sport to those that do not just consider it simply a business because you're sucking the fun out of the game and ruining this sport for not only fans of the teams you embarass, but kids that are learning about something you seem to totally lack: sportsmanship.

Its easier to explain Janet Jackson's floppy booby during a wardrobe malfunction than the planned and continued deliberate actions taken by the players under your direction. Sure its your job to win games, are you not good enough to do it without constantly skirting the rules, using deception and just out and out farking cheating? You're a dirty, unkempt, embarassment to the game.

Get the hell out of the sport.

Sincerely,
- Fans of the NFL and the ultimate purveyors of your salary
Against which team would Tom Brady most likely suffer a career-ending injury?

New poll should be "Will the Patriots ever win another Super Bowl with Bill Belichick as head coach?"

i think the bigger problem was you're relying on kevin faulk....is your league really that deep that there's noone better than a 3rd running back on the patriots?
I mean kevin faulk's basically a 3rd down running back, behind the law firm and woodhead.
Why would you dig that far down in the depth chart.

Or do you really not understand football that much?
i didn't really have a choice to be honest. half my team was on BYE, and Faulk did well last week so i thought i'd pick him up instead of the other guys available - and there wasn't much available, haha. besides, the guys on Sportscenter said Faulk looked good and he was back and would continue to look good. so i took a gamble. obviously, it didn't work out for me. Dontknow

oh, and it looks like the Faulk thing won't matter. unless Jeremy Maclin scores more than 10.8 pts tonight, i'll squeak by with a win Flex

other than eli, no one else thinks they're in the same class. he made the quote he should be mentioned with brady as best qb in the league
well to be fair, how else should eli respond to that question?
should he have said "nah, im not brady's level, he's so much better than me"

ofcourse you say what he said, he's paid like an elite top QB, and frankly this season he's playing like a top 5 QB.

its like starting a shannahan rb. you need to read as much as possible. the injury list is for gambling purposes only. not fantasy.
Shanahan teams shouldn't even count in fantasy. The first rule of fantasy football is: Mike Shanahan hates you.

i don't blame him. just joking about the end results. he's got the same amount of rings as his brother (and i'm a HUGE peyton fan).

I heard that even when the Pats aren't sucking, Tom Brady is still sucking.

It's just not on the football field.

The offense is fine, though Brady is having an off year with INTs and such. The biggest problem is the D. Worst ranked D in the NFL, IIRC.

Patriots dump Haynesworth

Tue Nov 8, 2011 2:24pm
By the National Football Post

On Monday, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick simply said that Albert Haynesworth was out of the rotation when asked why he did not go back into the game following a blown assignment in a loss to the New York Giants.

On Tuesday, Haynesworth was out of the organization altogether, as the Patriots released him, per ESPN.com.

A verbal altercation with defensive line coach Pepper Johnson apparently played a signficant role in Haynesworth's release. The Patriots acquired Haynesworth from the Washington Redskins once the lockout ended after he had worn out his welcome with Mike Shanahan, who arrived a year after Haynesworth got a seven-year, $100 million deal with the Skins.

Haynesworth will have to pass through the waiver process to see if any team would claim him. A couple of possibilities could be the Tennessee Titans, where Haynesworth enjoyed his most productive seasons, or the Philadelphia Eagles, where his former defensive line coach Jim Washburn now serves as d-line coach.

Yea but even still, look at the first couple of games this season..he had amazing stats, but one's got to wonder if it was the teams we were playing.

We've had the worst D for the longest time, but Brady and the offense was always able to step up. And honestly, I don't think the Giants played that great Sunday. I mean sure they played enough to beat us. But the way we were playing and to still be 0-0 at the half, just weird.Dontknow

I'm just hoping the can step it up for the second half of the year like usual. But I don't seeing them being a superbowl team this year, or even a playoff team.

They'll make the playoffs. They won't win a super bowl though. Offense wins games, defense wins championships. They need to start drafting defense.

Also, drop Ochosuck and offer a contract to Randy Moss to come out of retirement.

I don't think they'll get far in the Playoffs though, based on the last few games. Again, with them you never know..they could just snap out of it.laugh out loud

Yea I agree, I wish Moss never left. Him and Brady were in sync, IDK wtf Orcho's deal is...get rid of him. I still don't know we picked him up.Annoyed

His deal is he can't learn the offense. He keeps running the wrong routes, is in the wrong place at the wrong time. I bet part of that is him not understanding that he's not going to be a top receiver with the way belichick and brady run the offense. He's a good player, just not in the type of offense the patriots run.

its not learning the offense, like you said he's a good player but not in the type of the offense the pats run. chads strength is beating coverage and getting open, then getting yac. brady now knows a d so well and is such a timing qb he knows what'll be open and can miss wide open people because they should be covered by that particular d call.

i was listening to peter kings (senior si writer) podcast today. he was interviewing a guy who wrote about the pats draft strategy and philosophies of pioli/dimitroff who have since left. interesting in the pats have the most draft capital.. but they'll never use it to get the impact players. they could get top wr types any year they want to. they could trade up for the "can't miss pass rushers" but that's not his style. dimitroff gave a bunch he didn't have to get julio jones because they lacked it. also any lb's have to meet bill's expectations. you have to be a complete player.. not just a pass rush specialist.

bill's about getting correct value, taking guys who slip because of character/health issues and not overpaying. the most they moved up was nearly a decade ago.. 14 spots.
