Yeah.....no and no. I got called the *b* and *c* word in a thread and i didn't see anybody jumping to my defense. And i've been around a long time. the *b* one didn't even get a warning as far as i know. And that was this year. I take comfort that the second one later changed his screen name and then mysteriously vanished while i'm still standing. I'm not afraid to give it right back but that's the native new yorker in me. Others do not have the same constitution.

From reading between the lines, i believe the bullying was via pm's so not like it was out there where everyone could see and others could say anything about it. Which i assure you rarely happens anyway. I was the only person to defend someone trying to be nice and raoking codes in the kfr thread and got bashed for trying to be nice! I'm getting fuzzy on the details b/c it was months ago now, but i think b/c the bullying wasnt stopped, the new wikibee quit and then bailey quit too b/c it was just too much to have to start over finding and training a new wikibee.

I would not be surprised. I've been bullied more than once thru the yrs and i'm only still standing b/c i spend most of my time in the DS forum where it is much less stressful but not w/o bullies. I have battle scars from defending myself. Hot deals can get very rough and can tear you down over time.

That k is posting elsewhere is telling.

I'm sorry you have had that happen, and would have, always do jump in and defend others whenever I see others getting snarky! My nature has always been to defend the underdog, and or just "get involved" if I see something "wrong" going on! I try to treat others nicely, and in a civilized manner.....but will definitely speak up!! Sadly in life you either have people who will help out, defend etc., or those who see something wrong and keep going....... meaning some of us have morals and values and scruples, while those others not acting to defend, do not! Frown The fact that adults, even bully is a power issue/ego thing....you'd think since their brain is fully formed after their young 20's, would lessen the bully mentality, but it doesn't. I would think it would only help SD and improve traffic, to manage their boards via the mods, to basic decency required or ban the bully! nod
Another thing, the person bullied via pm, should also block the lowlife who is bullying....that and notify the mods, since they can see the pm's too and see what is being said!
NO excuse for bullying and a ZERO tolerance rule on SD would be the best bet and would also prevent the loss of assets (think wikibees) on their boards as well!!

He didn't seem to be the type of person that would be bullied, especially online from someone he doesn't know. Remember he came here because of the cry babies in the other thread. If he was going to quit, that would have been the time. I hope he did just quit, and it isn't due to illness, or something like that.

Never heard of that forum, nor been there. I only pop into the printable coupon forums to check for new ones. nod I just looked at the forum you mentioned, briefly. Who is the mod for that forum? Oft times that speaks volumes.....

printables is in the DS forum so you are there all the time. you just don't know it.

i was going to compare the coding from the mobile to the desktop to see what made it mobile, but ends up these aren't even awd links anyway, just regular amazon links.
