240 bucks for a 4x8 decent little trailer that most crossover SUV's these days could pull, Requires assembly, but with another 60 in lumber and it'd be hard to find a heavily used one on craigslist for that cheap. Comes with title, just purchased one at my local HF.

Two questions:

1) What is the cheapest (while also being safe and reliable) way to get a hitch for a truck? I've got a '99 Ford F150.

2) Can I haul stuff in a trailer with a V6 truck? It's 2wd, which I know is usually preferable for towing, but I know the V6 isn't really. I'd be looking at hauling an occasional motorcycle, pellet stove, that kind of thing. Maybe some furniture.....
Cheapest is usually U-haul (if you have someone else install) or you can buy cheap hitches on many places online and install it yourself if you are a little handy (generally hitches are much easier to install than say assemble this here trailer)

This trailer is very light duty, the most you'd be pulling is just over 1,000 lbs which even the most basic truck can do.

BTW on this trailer there are tons of online resources to help you assemble. The main warnings are usually that the light grounding is crap, best to run your own ground wire, the hubs are not well greased, best to repack before your first trip, the caster you fold onto are weak and break soon and also the receiver needs a non-standard 1 7/8" so you might have to replace the standard 2" ball on your tow vehicle. Also if you plan on folding I think you can only go up to about 5/8'' plywood and countersink your holding bolts or else it won't fold. Other than that most reviews are favorable if you can bear the 6-10 hour build time and you look at this from a bang for your buck perspective.

Not sure about 1 but for 2 you're fine. This maximum capacity is only 1200 pounds and a v6 can easily handle that.

Can you briefly explain how titles and stuff work for these small trailers? Do you need to register it with the DMV? Does it need a license plate?

Can a nissan altima pull this?
Check your owners manual for maximum tow weight. Most cars can tow 1000-1500lbs or so.

Refer to your local state laws... or if you're lazy, call the DMV and wait on hold to ask what all you need to bring in.

Any tutorials on how to add the wood? I would also like to make rails, anyone know how to do that?

I really like etrailer.com. Great hitches, instructional videos are good too. Most hitches are very easy to install if you are even a little mechanically inclined.

I have a 5x8 trailer and get full yard loads of compost with my v6 accord. Your
f150 will have no problem pulling this trailer.

Pages 13-15 will give you a starting point.............http://manuals.harborfreight.com/.../90154.pdf

I would consider the wood weight when calculating total trailer capacity when loaded also...

every state is different, here in CA you need a trailer plate which is like a $20-40 fee every 5 years but in other states it could be more

How do i repack hubs? What do you mean by countersink? What do you mean by caster? What do you mean by receiver? If non standard hitch how do you replace with 2 inch ball?

I brought one of these and used it once in an emergency to tow my motorcycle home within 10 mins distance, the wheels locked up, ended up grinded half of the wheels and bearings. I threw it on the curb as soon I got home.
