The tile place just called DH (who is still in Chicago on training). They have a portion of our order. Yeah the order that was supposed to be here two Thursdays ago. Now they're saying more time for the accent tile. I specifically checked with the manufacturer that everything we needed was in stock on the day we placed the order. Unacceptable. So now I get to call and be "that mean lady." We can't waste two full weekends because they can't order correctly. It really irks me since we had to prepay and special orders are non-refundable. Or so they think; DH paid with Discover and I'm 99.9% sure they will side with us as it's been twice as long as our receipt shows and we still don't have our tile. The tile needs to go up this weekend. DH works next weekend and my parents are coming July 20th we think. We still have a ceiling to repair and two bathrooms to paint after the tile is installed. Blowup

So the crappy employer didn't even bother to call in. Yep, you had the option of phoning it in (which I did rather than pay someone to watch DD and drive downtown and deal with that mess). I said my piece; they said nothing. Supposedly the written decision is coming in the mail. Although I can't see how they could win without even replying as he said only facts presented during that hearing would be considered. We'll see in a few days I guess.

That's what I was thinking. Although he did close the conversation by saying that I would receive his written decision in the mail in about a week and that instructions on appealing would be included. Scratchchin I wondered if they had the right to appeal even though they didn't respond but then figured it was something he always said at the end of the appeal hearing.
