I just found a free ipad/ iPhone app using RSS feed channel and I think someone will be interested.

Just download the vChannel player and then add the channel, you can watch TVB, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and Taiwan TV dramas, shows and movies using iPhone/iPad.

Download the vChannel video player from iTunes store and then add the following channel links:

This is the channel you add for TVB drama and chinese movies and news, apple daily

No, it doesn't, yet, the app store for the 4th gen apple tv works with the new TVOS and the vChannel app is not available. I called Apple and they said that it's up to the third party app maker as to when their app will be compatible with the new TVOS.
