I could use the money to buy a couple nemo tents and have plenty left over

... but... lolwut?!
Apples and oranges (another disclaimer), but I think I'd snatch up the Harbor Freight cheapo trailer and a really, really (,really) nice tent (handful of nice Colemans as of late) and save 1k... Regardless, <2k gets a nice tent and a lot of nice camping gear...
Perhaps there is something lost on me with this combo, but a trailer bottom sounds no more comfortable than the ground (less so, actually - pack a collapsible shovel and pick the right spot and it will trump boards) and there are cheaper trailers I believe... A specially fitted tent and trailer combo sounds like a trailer and a tent that quite likely aren't the exact right size of trailer and/or tent that I am looking for (when you can buy the ones that you want for the same or less - you don't buy your pants based on your trash bag size or vice versa)...
Now a trailer + hot tub combo... That's a deal I could get behind....
wait.. what?
