Met the contractor at the house yesterday, only to find the electricity was off. Seems there was some kind of cock-up with the power company, and the person that called me on Wednesday failed to communicate what was going on. The guy from the power company I talked to last night said there was some kind of issue with the power coming in at the meter, and it was only at half power, not entirely certain what that means. But I turned off the main breaker and they're supposed to be getting it back on today.

It could be the transformer that feeds the house is marginal and due to be replaced.


My ankle was definitely sprained yesterday, but thankfully only a minor/mild sprain. There's some swelling, and very slight bruising, but nothing severe. The more I walk on it, the better it feels, too.
