Other than being forced to endure tonight's episode of Celebrity Apprentice on NBC, it's going pretty well. Not making any seafood tarts tonight, because we were out running errands earlier, and I'm taking a night off from food prep.

Howdy. I hope everyone had a good weekend. I took yesterday off since the bride was out of town and didn't get back until Sunday evening. I still wanted a day to catch up and hang out. Now.....back to work! I swear these idiots don't know how to drive in snow. I mean I'm no good either in my little Honda, but at least I know how to drive knowing my surroundings and have a knowledge of general physics.

It's really surprising how many people don't apply common sense when driving in inclement conditions.

Oh, I'm starting to slide a little going up this hill? Better floor it! Or BETTER SLAM ON MY BRAKES is even better.

After I picked up some groceries yesterday, I noticed it looked like one of the Miata tires could be a bit low... checked it when I got home. All between 10-12 Facepalm
If they weren't such low profile tires I probably would have noticed much more easily. I had to make dinner, and when I was done, I didn't really want to drive any further with them that low, and also didn't want to run the engine to power my little compressor, and it was still fairly nice out, so I just broke out the bike pump and got them all up to around 21PSI. The door panel only specifies 26PSI, so that's less terrible. I stopped at the gas station this morning and put them up to 28/32, we'll see how I like that.
