Sounds like an excellent plan!!


I woke up at 9, slowly enjoyed two cups of coffee, and finally got out to run three errands about 11:15:
- Post Office - needed 1st class postage for an envelope full of papers for the BBB
- grocery - needed to pickup some Mary B's frozen buttermilk biscuits
- Batteries Plus Bulbs - needed a new gel battery for the alarm system.

Isn't it a shame? The old battery only lasted eleven years. Considering the relative instability of our power, I'm amazed it lasted even five years. The old battery had 4 Ah capacity and the new one has 5 Ah capacity, so it should definitely last at least ten more years. Best of all, the alarm system won't throw madly beeping alarms at all hours of the day and night. Like it did about 9:30 last night.

I like fried grits with some maple syrup, yum!

I took Thursday and Friday off of work so that I could work on some things around the house. Thursday I moved some of my stuff from my mom's house to mine and then Mom helped me hang pictures in my house. Friday, I helped my dad fix some things with the van so that my parents could go to my Aunt's to help her move things. Definitely a busy couple of days and now I'm continuing to hang more pictures and clean up and organize the house.

Honey and lemon juice and strong dark tea, my dear. Maybe a cinnamon stick in there, or some chunks of crystallized ginger, too. Cloves are a nice addition, but rather strong.
