35ยบ this morning. Have to call the auto shop to see when the Miata will be ready to pick up. Took PG to get her car from my mechanic after work yesterday. Reminds me why I use him for most of my work, the bill was $56.

Called the local insurance agent today to see what/if anything's happened with Mrs. Frog's auto claim. As we thought, they've declared it a total loss. The good news is, they're paying her about $2K more than we expected for it! Woot

Meanwhile, my wayward package from Monday/Tuesday will be dropped off at a FedEx location on my way home from work, and I'll actually go there to pick it up this afternoon.

Just got back from BJs. They have the same model TV for the same price. I could have had instant gratification. Sadwalk

Also stocked up on turkeys for the year at TJs. They are $1.99 lb. Faint

Oh well. The weekly shopping is done. The bills are payed. The kids are playing. And I'm not working. What's not to like?

Since I've gradually tapered off and now discontinued my psych meds over the last few months, my appetite has greatly decreased, and my desire for sweets has almost disappeared. I've been sleeping through the night a lot better, and waking up feeling well-rested, too. Funny how drugs will do that... Who knew?

No kidding. I won't lie, I absolutely needed the drugs for many years, just in order to survive. But I've had enough of them, after so long. And I feel a lot better for it, too. Thumbup
