I almost have everything out of my old house, but the closing date was supposed to be Wednesday but has been postponed do to stupid underwriters and what not. I have a shared well and they required a well test and inspection and didn't say anything till 9 days before the closing. Luckily the water quality tests came back fine, but they were nit picky about some other code violations so now I have to have someone come out tomorrow to fix a well that isn't broken. ugh.
Then they complained about the shared well agreement. They said the old one from 1992 wasn't valid because it didn't say that it was valid for future owners. So I had to track down the owner of the duplex next to me and have her sign a new well agreement. Now they came back and said that I have to put something in the well agreement that says the previous well agreement is no longer valid.
