They played that a LOT on my local independent station. It was okay, but the rotation was just a bit too frequent for me.

And with those 3 stores being open at 5 am (which is late now that some retailers stay open all night)

Half of my BF shopping is deferred purchases from throughout the year and the other is Xmas.

Sometimes the product has not yet released...

Also those purchases coincided with my annual bonus check from work...you'd never know what you were getting until it was given.

Those days are long gone since I'm a Gov employee now for 3.5 years...the Governor doesn't give out bonus checks like the private sector does!!! EEK!

Private sector doesn't anymore either, AFAIK... I got a huge bonus in 2000, a small bonus in 2001, and then every year after that a gift card to Best Buy or a restaurant in the $50-100 range. We don't even get that at this company anymore, now they have a stupid Censored corporate-style holiday celebration in January. Not even casual dress.

Iagree Our corporate parent slashed our annual incentive bonus payments when they purchased us. On average, we get less than half what we used to at bonus time. Mad
