Its the sump where all the water drains into and either gets sent down the drain or gets recycled.

I think I'd be able to do better work if I started doing stuff with fondant... but I'm not sure I see that happening in the near future. Maybe distant future.

Here's the Cake cake. The crown turned out rather badly. I combined the band's logo with the artwork from Fashion Nugget and Prolonging the Magic.

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series may be a better recommendation then, hasn't got any devilsome witchcraft or magic in it.
It was marked with challenges and lots and lots of towels...
Took the parts guy's advice and pulled the whole dishwasher. Good.
Removed the bad sump and also cleaned the impeller on the main pump. Good.
Replaced the sump, and tightened the hose clamps to a pretty snug fit as the sump was actually bendable rubber like - Not Good.
Shoved it back under the counter and turned it on...fills up - good
Starts to run the re-circulation pump BAD-VERY BAD!!!
One of the hose clamps was not tight enough.
Mop up pull the DW out again...spill water....
Find a spray pattern of water on the bottom of the DW...and tighten that clamp...hell tightened all the clamps more. -Good.
Shoved it back under the counter...and the supply line connection is ...
drip...drip.................drip.........drip......ARRRRRGH!!!
Won't tighten any more so it's still dripping.
Off to the orange box for a new compression nut and Ferrel.
Bought a set of Stubby wrenches too...this helped a lot to get that compression nut tight.
Tried it all again and...voila!!!!
