Raining too hard here today, so I stayed in and had a toasted bagel with cream cheese for lunch.

I plan on stopping by the liquor store to get a few mini-bottles for the afternoon coffee/cocoa. laugh out loud

The bride went and stayed with a friend in the boonies outside of Seattle a few months ago, and her friend bought me a bunch of local samplers of gin and whiskey. Christmas and Thanksgiving are when I spend the most time in the kitchen, and I generally like to have a finger or two throughout the morning when I cook like that.

I stayed in the office at lunch time, mostly because of the heavy rain, but also because of the heavy holiday traffic. Left the office just before 2 pm and comfortably ensconced in my recliner at this point. Comfy chair, comfy clothes, and a TiVo with a few shows. It's still raining heavily outside, coming and going in waves. Gonna be a peaceful afternoon.

Whatchya cooking for Christmas?

I went to Egg Man's for lunch (beer), and the bride and I sat with him in the carport and hung out for a while. Back home on my couch banging away at some test sites and watching netflix with the bride and the oldest.

I'm making turkey for Xmas. Not getting another pig until the tax return comes in.

Don't know if you've been reading any of it, but the NFL and Giants PR departments are seriously attempting to paint the Carolina Panthers as a team of thugs, and deflect blame from OBJ. It's ridiculous. Panthers players are all about teamwork and respect and their image in the local area.

It poured here today. I went down to the Franklin Institute to see a couple exhibits before work and when I came out it was a down pour. I had my rain coat on thankfully... But the umbrella was in the car laugh out loud

And, despite their best attempts to deflect and discredit, OBJ suspension was upheld on appeal. Applause

I've been following it closely. Ridiculous.
The Giants acted like douches. If Norman did Anything it was to defend himself.
And the whole bat thing is preposterous. Oh yeah the practice squad was gonna lay a beat down on ODB in the stadium? Crazy

To be honest, a lot of Panthers fans were expecting it to be overturned, specifically to support the revenue from this weekend's Vikings/Giants game. Also, to keep NFL drama as high as possible. Thankfully, now everyone on the Panthers and their fans can put all this stupidity and drama behind them.

Time to beat Atlanta again, then Tampa Bay after that. Whee
