We did have a surprising amount of rain in December, so there's that... I need to get some drainage issues around the house resolved in 2016.
We do too! Basement is pretty damp.

I was out shopping and could head the thunder inside JCPenney. As soon as I got out, I got pummeled by the rain. I tried to drive home but I could hardly see anything because of the rain and the wind was moving my Equinox. So instead of driving home I went to my SIL's house who lived nearby. SHe turned on the news and they had a map and right where my house is it was bright red. Thankfully, it didn't touch down there.

It did hit Garland. where a lot of my family members live but none of them got hit. Tornado blew some cars off the highway and into the side street EEK!

It was 80 degrees on Saturday before the rain. Crazy TX weather. It's 36 right now Crazy
I'm glad you and yours are safe. Some of my other friends in TX were safe too, but it was scary. I saw your FB posts so I knew you were ok before coming here, but that's still super freaky!

My back is still wonky

iT STARTS ACTing up after sitting in the car for too long
Stand up, twist, stretch, and do some serious distance walking.
Also, take some aspirin/ibuprofen and drink lots of water.
It eventually gets better, but only if you keep working/stretching.

A week ago, Sunday, I did a 95 mile ride.
By Wednesday my back inside of my shoulder blades were hurting, and it pained to breathe in all the way...
Sunday I rode 35 with the group and today the back feels just fine. I should have rode to work on Tues or Wed last week and I bet I would have felt better sooner. bulb

So far, this snowstorm isn't measuring up to the hype.

Yeah, it just means the effort I put in finding a tarp and a couple scraps of wood to secure it to the Miata was wasted (since the one window seal is still a bit leaky).

While it's supposed to remain gray, wet, and damp all week long, it's expected to be clear and sunny Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Win, I guess? Dontknow

Looks like Nessy's storm from TX is moving ridiculously fast, and will be here overnight. Sadbye

Looks like the front is already here. This funnel cloud photo is from Monroe, just southeast of Charlotte:

They are expecting a similar mess overnight st mom's but temps here in Philly should be just warm enough to keep it as rain Pray

33 degrees here. The massive fluctuations in weather have make me sick as shit. On Christmas I ran in shorts - tonight gloves and a hat. Supposed to snow/ freezing rain overnight and then who knows. A sandstorm and 100 degree weather wouldn't surprise me.

That'd be awesome. At some point you could just give up and sit in it and not have to worry about the long trip to the bathroom.
