I am really tempted. I need to remove dead ivy from my wood siding and rocks.

I also have to clean my house so I can paint it. I have only been looking for a couple days now so I can't tell how good of a deal this is.

$200 for something I'll only use a few times a year but then again those few times could be worth it.

Also, 10% Discover deals.

edit:
Never-mind about the discover thing. Only in store and I don't feel like leaving so I guess that answers my question.

if you can't get ethanol free gas, what do you do? fuel stabilizer?
the manual says it will work with up to 10% ethanol. I added the stabilizer just to be on the safe side.

an amazon reviewer suggested turning off the fuel switch while running and letting the engine burn the rest of the fuel left in the system to avoid clogged fuel lines/carburetor from the E10 (I will be doing this for winter storage).

There were 4 on a pallet in the front of the store when we first got there and not 10 minutes later, there was one left. Made our decision much easier.

Anyone know what brand engine this has? Is it a no-name generic one? And how does this 2 yr warranty stack up against other brands, and is Homelite good about honoring their warranty?

solid price for this

if you are in need of a pressure washer and can't find the one from this deal, Costco just got in the subaru engine ones. $299 though but w/ the lifetime return policy it's a solid investment

Got the last one at the lakeline mall location in Austin. None available in the cedar park location. Also used a lowes 10% off coupon to make it even slicker!

Thanks!

Bought one and was pressure washing my driveway and sidewalk in 20 mins. Put in some left over regular E10 gas as I knew I'd be blowing through it today. Started right up first pull, put 1.5 hours on it, turned it off for dinner, started it back up after 15 mins, one pull again, used it another 45mins. In it's initial performance there was no loss of pressure at any time during the use, the hose and nozzle attachments never "leaked" or had "streams" coming out of them. During operation the unit itself never moved from vibration, the rubber foot on the front is beefy to keep it from doing just that. The noise slightly louder than my lawnmower, about what my porter cable compressor puts out when it's building pressure. All in all, very satisfied with the price/functionality of this unit. I was on the fence getting one for awhile as the price point never made it to the point where I'd feel it would be worth it for such a tool that you don't use often, and electric just didn't have the power I was looking for. This one fit the bill in more ways than one.

Picked one up in Burlington Vt today. Thanks for the heads up, got a 10% off coupon from HD this week if I used my HD card to accept a credit line increase. Great deal on a 2700 psi. Found the one station in my area on pure-gas.org that has no ethanol will be using that for all my small engines from now on thanks to the advice I have read on SD.

Unless the model varied by location, the one does at my store did not have a Honda engine. It had a generic Homelite 179cc gasoline engine.

Which model is this? My local Costco has a generac one as of last week. I'm currently waiting on a replacement for the Subaru engined one that UPS mangled on me last week.

Was $299 to get the same washer with the Honda engine.

Home Depot pulled the product page already. Fortunately the review page [homedepot.com] and Google cache [googleusercontent.com] live on. Customer rating is 3.9/5 with 63 reviews.

Honda engine at $199 is wishful thinking. The Homelite pressure washer with Honda engine version [homedepot.com] is $299 and is 3.8/5 with 457 reviews. It'd be stupid for a low-end brand to spend/charge extra to include a Honda engine without prominently displaying the well-recognized logo (think "Intel Inside" or "Swarovski crystal phone case" or "made with organic olive oil")

Reviews for both washers date back to 2012 and both have a non-trivial number of 1 star reviews, which tells you that having a Honda engine isn't everything, especially when paired with a cheaply made 2-piece aluminum pump (per some reviews). Higher end washers have one-piece brass pumps, and lower end electric washers often have plastic pumps.
