Just a thought....but the '06 coupons look very much like '08. The low quality of the text on the Target coupons really makes it hard to tell sometimes. Or maybe I'm blind...LOL

Why am I up so late?
I'm in MN...which means the temp is -16, and the windchill is minus -39. AND.......my propane just RAN OUT!!!! I have it automatically filled twice a year....November and March. It's been cold this year, and I didn't check it. So....now I'm very cold. Inside temp....58 and falling.

Frown Tomorrow is going to be a $1000 day.
Bless your heart!!! Is there any way for you to build a fire in the middle of your living room??? shake head I'm jk...but seriously...do you have a fireplace? Electric plugin heaters? Wood burning stove? Any sort of plan B??? Our electricity went out once...for 7 days during an ice storm...and our gas kitchen stove was the only way we had to stay warm!!!! We cranked up all 4 burners til it warmed up enough to break the chill...then turned them all down really low!!! We cracked the window in the kitchen to reduce the risk of carbon monoxide killing us...and we lived to tell about it!!!! We were still cold...but wore many layers of clothes...drank lots of hot beverages, etc. It's prob. a small wonder that we didn't burn our house down...but you do what you have to do!!!! Any family/friends/neighbors you could stay with???

Still holding at 56. One little space heater, and a lot of quilts now hung up over the doors, windows, etc. The wind is gusting at about 35 mph into our large bay window in the living room....now covered in two down quilts. Stove/Oven is propane. I braved the cold and went out and shut the valve off on the tank. BRRR!

DH is really sick, I think he's got some type of pneumonia (but that's a whole different saga).

12 year old son is running a fever that Tylenol and Advil combined won't break, and is buried under 2 quilts and a 120 lb. German Shepherd on the couch. 5 year old is buried under three quilts and a 150 lb. Newfoundland on the love seat. Both sleeping soundly, and yes I did coax the dogs into their comfy sleeping spots, they don't seem to mind. I think I should take a picture of this. LOL 14 year old is at his Dad's house....Lucky boy. With all that said, and I know it was long...sorry. If we break 50, I'm gonna wake them all up and head to Mom's house (14 miles...not bad). But so far, every one but me is sleeping soundly. I'm too much of a Mom to sleep under all this pressure. One thing is sure....tomorrow's priorities are urgent care clinic and propane.

Ironically....I have been trying to convince DH to get a ventless electric fireplace for the basement family room. Maybe after tonight he'll be convinced. Do they sell them at Target??

Did I mention that I am now in LOVE with my cuddly Land's End bathrobe?? I'm so mad at myself for not checking the tank!!!!

Long long long...sorry. Keeping my fingers warm!

Another idea that my mom always did was turn on the oven and open it. I know if you have little kids that might not be a good idea but maybe just crack it open (unless you have a gas stove....Frown ) Good luck!

I hope things are getting better / warmer around your house! I'm right there with you with sick kids. My 2 yr old is running a temp of 102 although she seems to feel okay other then that but my 4 yr old has been at 104 for 24 hrs now and I can't seem to break it. I'm thinking about an urgent care visit too. At least we are in SoCal so we don't have to worry about the outside temp! Hope your day gets better fast!

I am in MN too and it is cold. The girls and I went to my brothers last night (about 45 minutes drive) and left DH at home. He is headed to Urgent Care today, may be pneumina, may be a bad cold.

We drove back last night and got home around 11:45pm. It was soooo windy and blowing snow. Talk about cold. Ouch.

If I remember correctly you are on the north side of the metro?

A few yrs ago, our furnance went out on a day like today. Turned out to be just a sensor, and Service Plus had it fixed in a few hours. But it got chilly in here. Thankfully we had space heaters here. After that, I found space heaters for 75% off at Target, and bought about 10 of them. A few weeks ago, my cousins furnace went out. She called for DH to come look at it. I sent heaters. Being cold is no fun.

So watch for that clearance at Target.

funny bc the original salsa coupon expired in 07.. yet the one i've gotten from one of you expires in 08.. hmm.. and cvs q's work for 2 weeks.. but in the target threads u discuss coupons that expired 2 years ago.
GM, Target often re-issues coupons. Just because one coupon for one product was on their website a year ago, doesn't mean it won't reappear on their website again. This often happens with Target coupons. Target coupons, at least until recently, have not been coded to come up as "expired". Therefore, coupons from '06 work as well today as they did in '06 - provided your particular Target doesn't make taking expired coupons. If you are suggesting something funny going on, then perhaps you need to discuss that with the person you believe to be responsible. And if you're saying the $8 salsa mistake was not Target's, you are misinformed. All that being said, I envy you your CVS savvy. I don't find it as easy to save there as at Target.

DON'T ask how much that Sunday delivery cost me.OMG

Did I recently read about space heaters being on sale at Target? The budget for that nifty electric fireplace just flew into a propane truck. LOL

Anyone tried the Nutrisse today? I got such a good deal yesterday and want more! drool There is another Target I have never been to but it's about 25 miles away (with 3 kids hard to take time to go "out of town" for a Target run). I am tempted to tear the barcode off the bottom of my boxes and stop by the local Target (less than 5 miles away) to scan the code (see if it's still available as a $5 giftcard on these items). Who knows if the other store even has any left.

I think I am nuts Embarrassment Embarrassment Embarrassment

You'd be cutting off your nose to spite your face!!!

those comments in the breakroom are REALLY harsh sometimes!
Then by all means...please don't read them!!!!

Sorry...but you asked!!!! The harsh reality is that we do not live in a perfect world! As much as I luv a good deal at Target... there are far worse injustices in this world than coupon discrimination!!!! Smilie JMHO
