How can a poster that has been around since Feb 2004 and have 3,734 post, have -9 rep points? That is just wierd. I know back in the day you used to be able to give negative reps but since 2004 they have not been able to get any positive points. Wierd. Just wierd.
They took away negative reps *I think* mid 2005.
On topic....anyone else's GB section look like crap?? I went today to check out clearance....still 30%...and a few vases and mirrors were broken.
Thanks!

ETA: You'll notice I put the word normal in quotation marks ... Just realized I might maybe kindof offend somebody if I didn't add that the word is in quotes bc I know there's NO SUCH THING.

A woman holding flowers and a candy box that she claimed was a bomb robbed a bank and caused the evacuation of a SuperTarget in Olathe on Tuesday night.
The robbery occurred at 6:35 p.m. at the Capitol Federal Savings Bank branch in the SuperTarget at 119th Street and Strang Line Road, FBI spokesman Jeff Lanza said. The woman walked into the store holding the flowers and a candy box, said Officer Vickie Smith of the Olathe Police Department.
The box had protruding wires and she handed it to the teller, warning her not to put it down or it would explode.
The woman demanded money and took cash from the teller's cash drawers and left the store in an unknown direction.
Authorities were called, and they evacuated the store. An entire retail center, which includes other stores near the SuperTarget, was cordoned off by authorities for several hours until shortly before 10 p.m., Smith said. The bomb squad used its robot to pull the package outside of the store so it could be investigated.

Authorities discovered that the package was an empty chocolate box with a voltage meter and wires sticking out of it, Lanza said.
The suspect is described as a white female, 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall with chin-length to shoulder-length dark hair. She was wearing a tan or dark overcoat with a dark blouse, leather gloves and black fur hat, and was carrying a light-colored shoulder bag.
There was no description of the vehicle the woman used.
Anyone with information is urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).

Ahhhh....yes, I live in KC on the MO side, but was across the river shopping at the KS Targets that day. I left the Oak Park Store on 95th and was headed to 119th in Olathe but got turned around somehow and was headed the other direction (still not completely sure of my bearings on the KS side of KC). I was going to turn around, but decided that the baby and I had enough Target with 3 runs already completed and it was getting time for him to eat, so I just headed home. I get home and about 10 minutes into the show I am watching, a special report breaks in that there is an "incident" at the 119th Street ST in Olathe involving the FBI
Also, about three weeks ago, there was a shooting in the Independence ST parking lot on a Saturday afternoon. Seriously, I go there all the time. My husband was like, maybe someone is trying to tell you something...nice.
My 6 year old (6 today!) took one look at it and proclaimed it the BEST birthday cake in the world, and "you're the best Mom ever!!"
Love truly is blind, and in my case blinded by Mommy tears.

But by the time she got to the 5th one, she just looked at it and rang it up...
What an annoyance! I went from being so excited to feeling like "here, take it, i don't want it if that's how it's going to be!"
