I found me some MP (market pantry) juice yesterday and it scanned for $.59.... Omg, i was soo excited, kinda like i found a treasure or something, bcz it was my first time! So i was waiting in line to pay for all my things, and then this girl tells me that she can take me in her lane. So i gave her an item, and then my juice, and some other stuff... And so it scans for .59, and instantly she says "HOw much was this?" So im confused bcz "why is she asking, I MEAN, she just scanned it so she should know!" So i said "i think it said 59 cents." So she says "well, you have 8 in this! that's the price for one!" "
Had similar experience this morning with a 69 MM package. The clerk immediately said that I couldn't have it because it should have been sent to Food Avenue. She said she would have to get manager approval. Told her not to bother. [Didn't want to draw attention to the bargain.] So I complete my transaction on the other stuff I had. As I'm getting ready to leave, the manager comes by the lane and the clerk calls her over and explains about the juice. Manager says that I can have it for the 69 since it wasn't my mistake that it was on the shelf. I about Faint since I usually have to fight the managers at this store when I use coupons.

BTW, the clerk & manager were extremely nice.

This makes the 4th "Target" incident in KC in just under a year. Last Easter, a gunman killed two people on the way to the Target store at Ward Parkway. He was shot in the mall just outside the store. Then there was the abduction and subsequent murder of a young woman from the parking lot of the store on Quivira. Add in the shootings in the parking lot at the Independence store and the bank robbery in the store at 119th and Strang Line Road, and you've got to start wondering what's going on with the Targets in KC.

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy V-day and a HUGE thank you for all the great deals this past year. Today I wanted to give a few presents to people and I literally can "shop" at my own home, giving people presents that are quality but sooo inexpensive...it really allows me to be so much more generous even though I'm still not super comfortable money wise. Thanks a ton!!!

I so agree with you on the gift thing. I have a large box in my basement filled with PP, Bratz, LPS, Lego, Transformer, magnetix etc that I picked up alot of during the holidays. It is so nice telling my girls to go to the birthday box to pick out a toy for bday present. I have twins so I usually buy a toy from each for the birthday girl/boy. It is so nice not to have to worry about running to the store last minute and paying full price EEK! for two toys.

We have a "gift closet" where we put any items that can be used as gifts. I bought 2 light blue plastic clear 2 sided scrapbook, photo supply cases last November to store Q's. They were in the section of the store that has 3M items etc. They have 6 various sizes of sectioned off areas and when turned over the case opens to an area where full sized sheets can be stored. They each have a handle so they are easy to tote around the home... and are see through. The upc is 8 24591 6077 6. I think they were around $14.

It is a key.

OMG, me too!!! My 3 year old walks around with raisins in and around her mouth all the time and that's what it looks like to me laugh out loud
Someone else thought it was raisins too.

She's right... it is a key! I've wondered before what it was. Vista has this great feature where you can enlarge the page you're looking at, and at 150% you can tell it's an old fashioned key.
woot

upon closer inspection, I do believe you are right. I'm pretty sure my dentist would advise against chewing on old keys
however: I like my theory of pushing in raisins with chopsticks better than key chewing.....Evil laugh out loud
No key chewing, I have a secret. Sly

I'm very sad.... I bought three really cute onesies at Target the other day from the 50% dollar spot stuff. They weren't anything special, but they were cute and cheap, so I picked up three different designs (alligator, "love" bug, and frog) in the largest size I could find, 6-9 months.

I get home & my little guy can barely get them on...

He's less than 10 weeks old. Bigeye

Even w/Target, it's gonna be hard to keep this one in clothes... Down

My kid is 12 months, wears mostly 2T. I don't know who made up the "suggested" size ranges but that didn't work for him after 5 months or so. On the bright side, Target often runs specials on gerber packs of onesiesbounce

Whats funny though is my son is 12 months and size 12 months either fits ok or is to big on him. He's just a little guy, but funny how different kids of the same age are. At the rate he's going he'll actually wear out his clothes, unlike most kids his age.

My son is the same way, 11 months old wears 12 mon. BUT he was 10.3 at birth! I think its because he is tall, is walking (lost some of that chub), and is breastfeed.

My little guy was 10.7 at birth, then was up to 16 lbs at his 8-week check up. He really is a porker! LMAO (But he's my porker heart) Giving him a bath is a chore, cuz he's got all these little fat rolls you have to wash out really well. EEK!

He's breastfeed, too, so hopefully he'll slow down a bit as he gets older...

My older son was (and still is) a bit bigger for his age (usually wearing a size higher than "normal range"), but nothing like this...

My kids were always a size or two higher than their age recomended. My DD will be 4 next week and is in a size 6-7! Where as my DS, is 5 1/2 and he is wearing a size 7.

DD has a lil belly, but she's not that much overweight and DS is tall. They are both tall & built solid.

My ds2 is the same way. He is almost 12 months and is in 9 and 12 month clothes with room to grow. People always think he's younger than he is. Before he was born I bought a cute 12 month outfit for him to wear in the chilly weather and he still swims in it. Here in Cali it's gonna be waaaay too warm before he can finally wear it, since we're already in the 60's. Frown

Ds1 on the other hand was always spot on with his sizes. Now he's almost 5 and is in size 5. Dr says he'll grow up to be about 6'1 so we're happy. That's taller than dh. Big Grin
