that's alright. I saw it on your wanted list and thought I could dig it out of the bin for you.
I glanced through TT, but didn't find it. Maybe next time.

So are you saying w/ a BOGO you would buy 6 use 5 BOGO Q's and actually get all free?Cool
I would pay for the 1... at least the last 2 times I have used BOGO or $1 off 2 coupons works. I have bought 6 of the Russell Stovers and 5 coupons went through no probs. I bought 5 propel waters and used 4 of the $1 off 2.. again, no beeps or anything

Quote from mommy2three :
I was just thinking about something. Lets say for instance you buy pampers, swiffers, and crest whitestrips. So of course you are going to use a cws Q. Now lets say it doesn't attach to the crest whitestrips but instead attaches to the pampers. Well, even though you bought the right thing it attached to the WRONG thing, how can whatever system they use to determine if Q's are used properly determine that the Q was used properly here? Even though it was. Man I hope people get what I am asking. I just see people all the time saying I bought such and such but the Q attached to something else even though they bought the item on the Q. Anyway, what is the difference if the Q attaches improperly if you bought the actual item or if you didn't buy the actual item and it attaches to something else?
I agree, even when using the right coupon, they do sometimes attach to the WRONG item

I have a HUGE REQUEST .... Similac Sensitive coupons .....

Long Story short- one of my dads employees just took in three of his grandchildren FULL time.... They went from comfortable living to three little girls who they " picked up " with the clothes on their backs. While they are beaming with love to have those girls, it has been a financial drain.

My parents and I have been searching and saving coupons to help a little - - We will purchase the items and then deliver ( they live in Tonasket- Omak area , very rural )....

We just need some more Similac Sensitive coupons for the baby !!!

I do have lots of coupons to trade - I listed early in these forum - - or I have a 5$ Walmart CG , that I will never use !!

Suzanne ... PM me thnks !!

I don't have any forumla Qs to offer (unfortunately), but just wanted to give a heads up wrt possibly getting them on WIC (if they're not already).

WIC will cover specialty formulas like the Sensitive and will also provide other groceries like milk, juice and cereal.

Here's the link [usda.gov]to their website if you're interested in more details...

That was my first question to my dad ..... after explaining to him what WIC was, he passed on the information and was meet with much disgust by his employee...

Pride , lack of resources from being in a rural area ( they do not have a computer or even a tv ) ... They are wonderful hard working grandparents ...

My dad ended the conversation and then discussed with us as a family what we could do - - - and he turned to me because I LOVE COUPONS AND A DEAL ...

thank you for posting that info , perhaps you helped someone else in their time of need heart

I understand... It's unfortunate, though, that often those most deserving of assistance are also the most resistant to taking it.

wic annoys me. when dd was a baby i bf and they gave me soooo much formula it was insane.
first they were giving me milk, cereal, tuna, carrots and cheese. then one day i asked if i could have one can of formula in case something happend. well they gave me a checks for like ten cans. then they kept giving it to me forever. i dunno why because i kept telling them i wasnt using it. I ended up giving it all to friends who needed it.
trying to exlplain to them that i didnt want it was like impossible.

when she was a baby they were always ranting to me that she was to fat. now everytime i go they rant at me because she is to skinny. shes like off the charts for height but 30% for weight.
she healthy but just a twig. I stopped going because i was sick of them lecturing me about her weight. i even brought a note from her ped saying she was on the right growth curve.

They kept telling me she was abnormal.
as im standing there 5'4ft 110lbs with her 6'1 150lb dad.
hello twigs make more twigs @@

i hate the way they make me feel there. they always acted like i was starving her or something.

sorry done ranting now

I know totally OT thats why I brought it to chit chat. I was at Kohls yesterday and they had some amazing sales! This one thing is so neat for kids. Its a little tent and slumber bag set, its called Under the Sea Slumber Set. I tried to attach a picture but I couldn't get it to work. The best thing is that it was regulary $ 34.99, and I got it on sale for $5.25 minus my 20% off so it was like $4 plus tax. I know everyone was really into the forts for sale at Target so I thought someone might be interested in checking these out. The really crazy thing is that people are selling these on ebay for $20-$30 plus shipping. I'm thinking now that I should have bought more than one. Oh, and they have another one that's more themed for girls called Fairy Princess slumber set. My ds is only one and not really into this kind of stuff yet, but for 5 bucks I can store it till he's ready!

Don't be sorry at all britney358, they made me feel the same way about my then 3 year old. He is now four, but I have been off wic for a year, even though I have a 2 year old and could still use the help financially, I hated the way they made me feel. My 4 year old is super skinny, and is like in the 5% for weight. His three brothers are all at perfectly healthy weights. He has been to the doctor many times, and they say he is healthy just very thin. I give him the same meals as the others plus boost smothies and pediasure drinks. Nothing helps to fatten him up though. Wic got to the point where they made me come in every week to have him weighed and it would be like a 2 hour wait each week just to get his weight and the lecture that he was too thin. I finally stopped going, so I know how you feel.

Let's keep in mind that the whole point of WIC is to address factors of malnutrition in at risk infants/children. That's their job.

If you don't like how they do their job, you can just walk away and turn down free formula and/or free groceries.

FWIW, I've been on WIC twice, once a few years ago and again now. When they try to tell me things I disagree with, I ignore them. When they try to tell me things I find useful, I don't. Never seemed all that difficult to me... Dontknow
