I'm so frustrated. I have 2 really good T's that I go to all the time but today they both shot me down on using more than 1 q for like items.Frown This is including mq's. How can a store tell me how many mq's I can use? I think my Target shopping days are over, well at least coupon shopping. And it just got good. BTW, 4 T's declined my Enchanted q, thank goodness as it seems to be a scanned copy.

Hey, at least my DH won't need to create a T budget anymorelaugh out loud

And newborn bottoms are a lot tougher than they might seem. laugh out loud

You're never too old for an Easter basket (or two).

I liked them both... one was prettier... but one had chocolate! yummy

Did you try suggesting separate transactions for all the multiples?

I gotta vent a bit, unrelated to Target...

...My hubby just dropped a bomb on me and I can't call any family/friends cause its too late. He has been unemployed for 3 months now, and I don't know if panic is setting in or what, but he says he wants to enlist. He wants me to go with him to a recruiters office on Monday...I just don't even know what to think about this right now...

I went this a.m. to the local Women's Pregnancy Center, took them 70 containers of Huggies wipes. I tell ya, it made my week. Hugs all around, it was fun. They put together a wonderful bag for new moms and then a FANTASTIC diaper bag for when the baby is born, including diapers, an outfit, etc. I now have a new outlet for my shopping addiction! Just trying to get the nerve up to try the ETQ Luvs.
Applause Good for you! What a thoughtful thing to do. hug

Wow. Comfort I wish I could be of help but you have to do what is right for you and your family. Think through all the possibilities and discuss your concerns/fears with your hubby. Hope all turns out well for your family Pray

You know, I thought about it but there was only 2 cashiers with lines building and I had a crying baby so it wasn't worth it. I shouldn't have to be inconvenienced in that way when I give them money. But why would such a big corporation care about how a few coupon using customers feel?

On a positive note, at least they still have good clearances. I scored pretty big with all of the scrapbook and party supplies at 75%.

Even though I may not be coupon shopping at Target I can't help but still want to be a part of this thread. Ya'll are very entertaining and keep me laughing throughout the day. Thank you for thathug

Not trying to be nosy, but did he get anykind of unemployment benefits? Around here, they last for 6 months, so you could try to "stall" a little bit by having him wait out those additional three months to see what else might be out there before committing to anything.

I know kinda how you feel. Comfort I'm going on over a year unemployed... granted, much of that was spent being pregnant, but it still sucks that there are more months where we can't pay all the bills than months we can. Sadwalk

Went to two Targets in Iowa today. One informed me that I could only use 5 of the same coupon - didn't matter if it was manufacturer's or Target. I told him that was ok, that I would separate my order, I didn't have a problem with that at all. He informed me that, no, I couldn't do that. It was 5 per person or family, I can't remember which he said. I think he said family. (I was alone,so it wasn't like I could hand a pile to someone else).

The second store didn't say a thing about it and I had 7 Chinet cups and plates, ten or so batteries, and something else that I had a bunch of that I can't remember.

Between the two Targets and two Wal-Marts that I went to today, I found quite a few Rayovac peelies. (Wal-Mart's also has D's for .94)

I think I have 11 cups and plates. That was fun. They had some of the plates on clearance for $2.11

Did find some hang tags for the Bounty, it was $1.99, so .75 after coupons, not great but I actually needed some.

Aww! {{{{{{{smeg}}}}}} You got me Easter baskets!!

I think the second basket has decals or some kind of decoupage on the outside of the shells. Looks kind of like there are flower cutouts stuck on them. Very pretty. But chocolate bunnies and eggs are yummy .

I'd put together one for myself except that the main reason why it's nice to receive them is because I then have an excuse to eat all the junk food inside. If I buy it, it's just me buying myself candy. If it's a gift, well, it's a gift.... can't be rude... must eat! *num num num... num num num..... candehhh* Drool

I have a question. I went to T yesterday and bought 2 Cranium grab and go tubes. They were both the same kind "the suduko" (not sure if I spelled that right). But anyhow, was wondering if anyone knew if they were ALL that kind or if there were different versions of the Cranium grab and go?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi!

There's quite a few different ones---I've picked up a "jumbo jacks" version, and have also seen a backgammon-like "move the pieces" (which are TIIIIINY, btw) game.

Undoubtedly, there are more available; you might wanna check the Cranium website or I'm sure others will chime in later with a better idea of what's out there.

Happy Shopping!!!

Awesome, glad there are more to be found. I was just wondering for my trips this weekend if I should bother looking at other T's but I guess I will. Repped ya on the flip side! Smilie

I barely had time to fuse the bags together. It ended up being a long night...our water heater broke and starting spewing water all over the garage. Thank goodness DD caught it shortly after it started.

I guess I will have time to sew it up tomorrow when the repair men comes to fix it. I have to take off time from work.

DH is a plumber, but since we are in a rental kinda of weird to own a property--back home in the midwest--and be a landlord and a renter) he said forget it, I have already fixed enough sh!t around here for free.

Read my siggy again...this time out loud, perhaps twice!

Hmmmmmmm, all I have to say is DO NOT respond to her texts or calls. Definitely a moocher and a leach that will be hard to get rid of since you have "extras" she can come and grab anytime. I can guarantee that you will be hearing from and seeing her lots more now that she knows that you get things FREE or cheap. Don not allow her to make you her favorite "store".
I love all your comments. I really love the one about not being someone's "favorite" store. I can relate . I agree that she is using you and not ,sad to say.a true friend. I am always willing to offer a hand up , but not a "Handout"more than say 2x...I am weak I know. Statistics have proven time and time again that there are some folks who will never "help themselves." We all know the sayings etc.. teach to fish, what would Jesus do etc. He taught folks to fish as many of us have tried. I would share with her the truth. Explain how you feel and state that you have full confidence in her ability to utilize coupons to their fullest extent! Do not gift her things. She was a mooch and an ingrate. You have offered her knowledge which is only powerful when used. You would not believe how generous the state of GA is to mooches. You are a busy person and like most of us ,time is a valuable commodity. It would be better spent on someone worthy. Since she has not been much of a pal really anyways , replacing her..if that is a goal.., would not be very difficult. Regardless of what any of us say you are the one who obviously has to live with it. Unfortunately like many I lack enough time for the folks already in my life and rarely have a chance/time to gather new friends.I am not Catholic ,but like most I do admire Mother Theresa. She is often remembered by her quote,"We cannot all do great things in life. We can do small things with great love!" I admire and respect the love and gift of sharing you did with your "friend". Thank you to all of your precious children of God sder's that make her quote a reality. We are all so blessed! Happy Early Easter hugs and kudos to you!

Wow. that's a good idea. I've been giving all my baby wipes q's away.. and buying makeup wipes without q's, grrr. I'll have to find those cleanteam & kandoo wipes q's.
