His doctor had given us a steroid prescription cream (Elidel) to use when they first diagnosed it and we used that up throughout the course of a year. On his next visit after that, I asked for a new prescription to get a refill and he told us, he doesn't prescribe that anymore becuase it was on the FDA watch list for causing cancer! EEK! It hadn't been taken off the market yet, but was being watched by the FDA and new warnings were put on the box! So, his Dr. told us to use a good moisturizer every day, especially after baths and that's what we've been doing. I just stocked up on Eucerin with Target's last sale so maybe I will try the Aquaphor after that. I just hate to see him constantly scratching!
This exact thing happened to us too. We also use the Eurcerin after baths and have good results. Since DS is almost 12 he is getting a little old for me to do this for him and I have to remind him every night since he forgets.

We also have a prescription concoction that we switched to when the Elidel went to the watch list. It's a combo of Aquafor/Kenalog/and Urea. We try to limit this since the Kenalog is a steroid, but it does clear things up when they get bad.

Good deal at Krogers this week if you have one. Goldfish are 10/$10, when you buy 10 you get $5 off. So they are $.50 each. Not sure if T has a better deal or not.
Is the 5 off instant?

Love Aquaphor! So may uses. My DS has eczema, works great on sunburn, chapped lips, rough elbows and knees, rashes, and my youngest has laser treatment every 8 weeks. We use aquaphor exclusively to help him heal and prevent blisters. His dermatologist actually gives us a tube or a small tub after every laser treatment. (well...I'm sure insurance is paying for it somewhere.Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) )

My son who has eczema also benefits greatly from Aveeno oatmeal baths instead of plain water. When he does break out, he gets out the sweats or long sleeved, long pants pj's. He lathers up thick with either Eucerin or Aquaphor before bed..puts on the sweats and let's it "soak in" all night. That works great!

I didn't get a chance to catch up yet, just started on the deal thread. But I had to come here after reading just 2 pages (476 & 477) and scream! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Ok, now I feel a little better and can go back to reading the same questions over and over and over and over!!!! (Why do people say they have been reading the thread but ask the same question that has been asked 15 times in the last 2 pages???)

Sorry, for the rant. Will be back here to catch up shortly!Smilie

I know! If you want to bash your head against a wall, read the Walgreens FAQ in the Drugstore Forum some time. It is the exact same questions over and over and over and over and over and over. . . every two-three posts.

I really came here to post that I ventured in to a different WM today to use up some 3/31 coupons. Saw the Ronzoni pasta-- Healthy Harvest AND the other one, Smart something? anyway, both were $1.47. My Ts have never carried either of these so I may end up (shudder) getting them at WM.

really, the smart taste was 1.47? I'd pay the .47. Pasta is getting expensive. I have 30 coupons to burn. I didn't see it at my WM, I'll have to check the SWM. I hate going there though, always issues.

Man this working stuff really gets in the way of my Targeting! Work til 5, go home, make dinner, clean up, and try to rush to wm before sco closes, and hit target too, while taking two lil ones with to slow me down. LMAO It's gonna be tough. I'm afraid to wait on going to Target though. I'm afraid they'll catch the small bottle snafu and fix it before I can get there to take advantage of it.

I was just thinking the same thing!!!! Darn work!!!!
lucky for me i quit my job just in time. nod
my first monday of unemployment and here i am - made $10 at cvs and $50 at target today. not too shabby. Cool
dh actually went with me to the last store (only because i promised him a free smoothie Stick Out Tongue). they ended up not having smoothie or breadsticks stuff so he had to do without until tomorrow. laugh out loud

Thank you. My mistake, I really meant to ask if anyone had a regular box of Ronzoni Spag? Just wondering if they're the same UPC. This coupon isn't in the decoders. I guess I could've just asked if anyone has used this on reg. spag? LMAO

Coverlaugh I love it!!! I edited mine and spelled it out a little more clearer. MAYBE, just maybe, it will prevent one person from asking.

What gets me is, why lie about it? Why do they post that they've been reading and then ask a question that's has just been asked ONE page prior? Why not come on and say "Look, I haven't read sh!t, but I want to know if this will work on so and so?" At least then, I might have a lil more patience and answer the question because they were honest!

And no, I'm not trying to "bite off" anyone's head for asking a question. It's just that I got on to read, and the first 2 pages are nothing but the same questions asked over and over. And considering this deal is ALL that's been talked about today....it really wouldn't have been too hard to find the answer.

sorry.....done ranting AGAIN! Ranting I will behave and go back to my corner.Annoyed

Awwww, poor hubby! No smoothie you promised! I guess you'll just have to pull out some of those free Durex tonight to make up for it! Wink2

btw...no, not too shabby for your first day unemployed!! Good for you!

My son has eczema too. He's had it since he was one month old. I aquafore him up each day. When it's bad I do it twice. Then when it's really bad, I use hydrocortizone cream. That stuff knocks it out withing a couple hours. My doctor said not to use it a ton, because of the steroids in it (not sure what the steroids do) but when he gets bad I put some on him and he clears right up.
Thanks for the tips! I have used hydrocortizone on occasion when he's really bad, but he gets it all over (mostly his back and thighs) so it takes a lot of the hydrocortizone to lube him down.

It is getting expensive. I used to get it on sale, without a q, for 50 cents. Not anymore. All the groceries are getting ridiculously priced anymore. shake head

Yeah . . actually it was a SWM. I'm so WM illiterate that I forget the difference. Teehee

It is getting expensive. . . My goal price point for pasta USED to be $.33/lb. EEK!

I haven't actually had to buy it in ages (thanks, mostly to that Barilla survey last year woot) but not looking forward to it when the stockpile runs low.

I empathize w/u.hug There are never enough hours in the day! I am staying up way too late to catch up .EEK! I have read that Kukio oil is great for skin issues such as the one you are dealing with. It is costly. I have used it and really liked it. I got it in Hawaii. It was not cheap there either but well worth it since it worked fast. I used a combination of gel from an aloe plants leaves and this oil.It helped heal my sunburned skin and sore dry feet faster than other stuff..nod This info is from a google search:
"Is Kukui oil safe for babies?
Yes, Kukui oil is a natural product and it is safe for babies. It helps erase cradlecap and soothes diaper rash. Our co-workers baby had eczema and she used our shampoo as a baby wash and during the day she applied Kukui lotion when his skin looked dry. Another mother uses Kukui oil for her childs eczema during the day when hes awake and eating his fingers and scratching. She used the doctors prescription ointment at night."

The oil is said to be better than the lotion. My mom has to have a cortisone shot 2 or so x per yr.. She knows it is not good to have that many but says the alternative is worse. She does like this oil but does not use it often enough per her. Becoming a vegetarian did not solve her problem either. She takes benedryl a lot. It makes her sleep well at night too. Smilie Some say drinking aloe vera juice is helpful . Try George's brand if you do that since it has no taste. It is like water. Many are very very bitter. I get mine at Whole Foods. I have not seen any for sale at T.

Can I just say that I am so incredibly freaking irritated today!! I H-A-T-E Work!!! It ruins everything!!! My stupid company is flying me out to Chicago for all of like 14 hours.....which means I have to spend my entire day at the airport or in meetings and I will have NO time to shop until wed morning....I have this anxious feeling in my stomache that I'm going to miss out on the Pantene deal and it makes me want to pull my hair out!!!

Not to mention that thanks to everyone I now know how to best use my remaining clean team coupons.

AND due to stupid work and stupid freakin walmart I did not get to go shopping at ALL today!

This is way way ot.....but do NOT ever pay your freakin bills at Walmart....basically they charge you $1.00 extra for next day posting...and their idea of next day posting is 3 DAYS!!!!! It's a huge long story I won't bore you with but they cost me ALOT of money today and ALOT of time....the ONLY time I will be going there is when they pay me to shop and I don't even want to do that....but free stuff is free stuff right??

Anyways, due to walmart being asshat's (hehe) I have a TON of expired coupons...so if anyone who can used expired coupons wants them they are all yours, just send me a pm!
