This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

PS - Posting this in chit-chat because of all the lurkers in the regular thread. Although I guess I'm considered a lurker because I don't post as much as I should. I just very rarely find a deal that someone else hasn't covered yet! Sure am appreciative of all the info though! Our cc bills are several hundred dollars less since I started cvs'ing and target'ing!

For jimmy-if you're looking to buy something, set up a deal alert. it will send you an email when something is posted in hot deals that matches your criteria. It's awesome, I was stalking a TV and a few other items that way. I usually check hot deals every morning when I wake up and scan the day before stuff. 75/25 on content but hey, it's something

So sorry to have trompled on your feelings, my dear.
Again, as I told Chocolate, if you read my post history, I generally am VERY willing to help new posters out, and have very rarely gotten impatient with them. Those who read this thread regularly have already been discussing this deal for days, and then suddenly, poof!, tons of new people are standing here, practically PANTING to be able to get the free gift cards, and showing not a whole lot of willingness to figure it out for themselves. THAT is what frustrated me. And then to have others who rarely post jump in and accuse us of being unfriendly and why can't we just help the new people out - well, that doesn't sit very nicely with me. You are making judgments of me when you don't even know me.
Having said all that, I apologize for making the comment about your "thousands" of posts, etc. - my remarks were made in a moment of frustration and I am sorry if they offended.
Anyways...back to more off-topic chatter.
