Thanks to everyone for the baby advice! Hopefully things move along

Somehow I ended up at Target tonight and had a nice run. I was casually mention to my cashier that a major rd was closed and she said she had to take that way home and thanked me for mentioning it. I could have handed her a puppy to scan (I love that quote, wish I knew who mentioned it)

So now that Im pretty sure using expired coupons ISNT illegal, how about returning items, and receiving more money in the form of cash/giftcard then you used to purchase the items? Like AC $10 out the door, but the return would get you $80-90 worth? Is this considered "return fraud"?

I ask this because im beginning to get paranoid regarding coupon usage and returning. I was returning some toys at target the other day, and of course the message came up after 2 toys were scanned "Call for approval code". In the beginning, I assumed this came up when a large quantity of the same item started being returned in a short period of time throughout the various targets. After a while, I came to a pretty safe conclusion that the message also appears when you return an item that actually costs MORE than you paid AFTER coupons. Now im thinking it comes up after the 2nd item returned. Moving foward - so the message came up, and I dont know why I just didnt say "nevermind, just return the two toys, ill keep the rest". Anyhow she was on hold, and she asked me if the coupons were on the toys and of course I said no, and that was the end of that. Then another target employee walked by the desk, and said "oh the coupon thing". Then while she was talking to the rep on the phone, she said "yes theres coupons on it, but it doesnt say, just says "store coupon" $5, $10, $8, etc". I wasnt worried about this part. Eventually she said "Hes in the CAMERA room". To this moment, I still can't figure out if that was a bad indication or not. The other weird thing is I paid with Cash, but the lady said she was going to give me about half in cash, and half in giftcard. Strange as well. Can they rig the giftcard serial number and track wehre I use it? Isn't that a little far fetched Hah. My GC must be tainted and I must sell it! or Get rid of it!

In any case, this was a target FAR away from my home. I'm wondering if one Target communicates with the other and if they look at the surveilance tapes of the certain target I shopped at. Im pretty sure that they have the location of where I purchased the items (I purchased them at a different target nearby) so would they go through all the trouble to catch "the coupon bandit"?

*Sigh*

Anyhow im going back to target... near home. See what happens. Someone said stay away from the $10 ETQs since they are bait for Target. So I'mma try not to. Thanks

WHY OH WHY would you return stuff of $80-$90 when you only spent $10? That is sooo a HUGE red flag! Geesh... stupidity at its best

Oh wow. He's 14 months and loves them. I hope he'll love the potty just as much soon. He keeps staring at it, fascinated. He crawls in every time I'm in bathroom and tries to climb up on it. Please let him potty train early---
My 2nd ds was about 18 months when he first peed in the potty. Wanted to be like daddy and big bro. Turn him around backwards either sitting backward or kneeling on the seat backward (facing the lid). Everything is aimed perfectly and they can "see the action!" LMAO And if they start to get disinterested in the pt'ing, throw some cheerios in there and let them aim and shoot! LMAO LMAO LMAO Just make sure you figure out when they need to poop too, 'cause of course they have to be sitting facing the other direction for that! (yes, we did have an accident in the beginning with that)

Excellent! Never woulda thought of that!!!

We have a just turned two year old (that's him over there <--------) who is peeing in the potty pretty good, and is now trying to get the hang of "the other" (did it for the first time yesterday, aamof).

With our oldest, we had the "poo poo party," where we blew on left over noisemakers from New Year's Eve, sang a song (and no, fellow SDers, I will not be reproducing that here, sorry), and generally made a big deal out of it. That seemed to work pretty well for us.

Now the eldest (who turns 7 in ten days) wants to have the "PPP" for his little brother, so it may be time to break out the horns again...

I'll just pick up the couch and clean out the air vents, lots in there. My kid is in a hiding phase, hides stuff everywhere. I'm crunching gerber puffs under my feet in various rooms, I found a set of keys under the radiator this morning.

AMEN to that girl!!! nod GG, it was tough to keep up last week.

And I think I'm with you. I didn't see much of interest to me in the ad this week, so I think I'll take the week off, and hit it Sunday.

I spent the day yesterday putting a set of shelves up for the kids games and such, so I could take the smaller one that was there, and put it in the storage room to store my Shampoo! I gave my sister a bagful of Shampoo & Conditioner, should last her a good 6 months. Also gave her a Reynold's vac and some bags. She is recently seperated and now wants me to show her the ropes to couponing. EEK! I'm just learning the ropes myself, but I guess I know enough to get her started. And I guess we can get her stockpiled on some things before the update hits us. (**knocking on wood)

I love the yahoo smilie. Wish I would have mailed in that rebate. I had a ton from the cvs deal a couple of months ago. Oh well. I need to get better with rebates.
