I'm changin my post now since my papaw is home and feeling better now. This thread is for anyone to use and post there own requests. Lux took my post from another thread and made this a separate thread just for that reason. Please do not hesitate to make requests cause you might be surprised at the support you will get from the loungers!!

Here is my original request...
Sorry I know this is off-topic but there seem to be some religious people in here right now.

Please say a little prayer for my grandfather cause my mom just called and said he just called her and she is taking him to the emergency room. He is having pains (chest, I believe). It scares me cause he had a heart attack last summer and then a 5 bypass surgery. So now I'm heading to meet them at the hospital. Thanks!

I heart my Papaw!

Prayers for my sister, please. She's pregnant with twins and due at the end of April. She's been diagnosed with preeclampsia and they don't think that she'll be able to last the weekend before having the babies. Obviously the longer they bake the better. Please pray for everyone's safety and that they make it into the world with no issues at all. Pray

hug Thanks, Pig.

Yes, m. - she's around 33-34 weeks. Viable, but the longer they stick the better for sure!

My mom is flying out of Iowa tomorrow to LA to stay with her and help care for the 14 yr old and autistic 3 yr old. EEK! Please please please God, let these babies come out perfect.

With twins, they are less developed than just one baby at 33 weeks, right?
Hopefully nothing major goes wrong (I mean, aside from giving birth so early)... lots of bad things can happen to preemies. She must be terrified.

Your sister and her twins will most definitely be in my prayers. I hope and pray they stay put and cook a bit longer. Tell them this is a cruel, cruel world and to stick inside as long as possible.

Pray

Thanks RG. Smilie

She just emailed me and said they're preparing her mentally for an emergency c-section. I don't know much about twin development, but I'd guess they'll be on the smallish side when they arrive. Hopefully they won't have to stay in the NICU very long. Her 3 yr old was born with the cord around his neck and had some issues (they think it cause some of his delays), so I think a small part of her is relieved to not have to face that possibility again.

If she's 33-34 weeks along, that's pretty good for twins. Of course, they'll be smaller and need to be in the NICU for some time, but they should do fairly well. I imagine they're giving her steroids to develope their lungs?

Does she know if they're boys, girls, or one of each?

I heart babies. But, no more for me Frown

Oh I just saw all this! Congrats hug Is everything ok? Getting to the 32 week mark with twins is *usually* considered safe...meaning if they can wait 32 weeks they will usually be ok..just need a little extra love and care. Smilie

So far, so good. She's more freaked about the possibility of a c-section than anything I think. I can't wait to find out what she's naming them. She's telling everyone "Rocco and Bella" but we'll see... That may just be to irritate my parents. Coverlaugh

I'd be freaked over a c-section too laugh out loud HOWEVER...it does have it's perks. It doesn't hurt like a motherfarker to go to the bathroom for the next 2 weeks (I had to have an episodomy with both kids though..so maybe it's not usually that bad.)

Bella...I actually like that name. Smilie Rocco is an interesting choice, lol. It makes me think of that kid from Hannah Montana laugh out loud
