I am 28 and I believe by the time I am retired, pot will be legal in most if not all states.
Legalize it, don't let the government grow it instead let private companies grow like the tobacco companies. Make it so a license is required to sell large quantities only.
Bottom line, we would cut billions of dollars lost to Mexican drug lords and elsewhere. We would create billions in taxes because a LOT of people would smoke it if legalized. The pharmaceutical companies that MAKE billions in anti-anxiety and anti-depressants would LOSE billions as people would likely turn to pot to self-medicate.
If we got the tobacco companies (or a LARGE sector who stands to make profits) on board, then legalization will definitely happen sooner than later.

It is one of those things that I have found in life in which we can all agree on. That, to me, is an amazing thing. We are much more alike then we are different. I can guarantee that someone you honor and respect has smoked Marijuana.
And to the closet smokers I say: Stand up and speak the truth. Your voice is your life and now is the time to make this happen.

I have a job; thank you very much. For six years I have worked in this city of mine and have smoked every day of it. I've smoked with Doctors, Physicists, Biologists, Lawyers, etc. I pay my taxes, my rent, my bills. I'm responsible and proud of it.

I am in the same boat...although I've cut back a lot in the last few years. I used to be a courior after the Telecom industry went in the crapper, and smoked 5 times a day while driving. I drove 160,xxx miles in almost 3 years and never had an accident. I now have a dream job, office with a window overlooking DT MPLS, and I still smoke.
I will admit though, not the best thing on the memory, and not the best thing while trying to diet. LOL!!!

As for me, I'm a full time college student (Junior), on a full academic scholarship, have a great paying part time job, stand at the top 10% of my class, have more real job experience than post graduates years older than I, live in my own house, pay electricity, gas, water, phone, insurance, cable, internet, and credit card bills.
And I start toking at 8:00AM

i run and own a legitimate business that will gross between 500-800k in our second year of operation...
i have two full time employees and one part time employee and we all are under the age of 30.
...ive held 2 and 3 jobs consistently since i was 10 years old.
(and well, fill in the the blanks... i wont admit to anything outloud ...)
