What's the point of the fart pipes the kids put on their 4 cylinder cars these days?

I'm not too old to remember some of the trends I followed back in high school. I cuffed my pants and rolled my sleeves (which some people still do). I wanted subwoofers and crap in my car. I even understand some of the current trends. But, one that is so frickin annoying is the kids who take a slow POS tiny car and put a fart pipe on it. The car is still slow. Yet, they drive it like they put a new engine in it. It's still not fast you dumb ass! In addition to that, it's now very annoying. I see people doing it with Civics and those old Saturns. What's the point?

Do you mean the tuner exhaust pipes? ....... that makes the car sound like a gopher farting?


I'm still trying to figure out why people add spoilers on the trunk lid of a FWD car? Confused
