Depends on your version of Netflix software. On my Bluray player (ancient version) it only seems to pop up when the login credentials need refreshing. On my Amazon fireTV thing it pops up every time I access it.

I think for the BR player, I once went in and told the player to 'forget' about the Netflix and that forced me to log in again

This all sounds like ways to change the account rather than change profiles. I'm not sure the Samsung smart tv app supports profiles. They've been rolling out that support slowly to their various apps and Samsung probably isn't very high up the list.

Yeah, thats for changing accounts not profiles but thats what i used to reset my account.

I've had the option to change the profile come up a couple of times on one of my samsumg tvs but the one i want to change it on seems to be stuck on this one for now. A reset didn't even help.

Hmm.. in my samsung smart tv i get the option to choose profile the moment netflix loads. so not sure what is happening. I did have to delete the netflix app and install it again because my netflix app was not loading at all few weeks back.

Not sure it is related,
but maybe a year ago I set up Profiles
for myself, MomDad, and Sis.

Mom could not figure out some problem,
It turned out the "hand-me-down" Roku2 I had given her
doesn't support profiles like the Roku3.

So I just went back to a single profile.

Here's the roundabout way to switch profiles.

First, logout of the app (others have shown the link for the arcane remote button combo).

Once you're out, log into your Netflix account on a computer. From there, switch to the profile you want showing on the tv.

Next, log back in to Netflix on the TV.

Whichever was the last profile you were signed in with on your computer should be showing now.

This doesn't solve the problem of switching back and forth on the fly. But if you only need to do this once, it works.

We are trying to get the other profile too but when we log in or off it doesn't show us a choice which profile we want. It gets directly to the first one. Help!
