Hello all.

Went to my local Costco today (Located in Fresno, California) and I did a double take. Glenlevit 12 Year Old single malt scotch whiskey was priced at $19.99, apparently due to a $7 manufacturer instant rebate, which goes through November 30th. This means that while liquor price may be different depending on the area, a great majority of Costcos should have it marked down by $7.

Costco Store Locator [costco.com]

You might not need a membership to purchase Alcohol at Costco, depending on local laws or if you can get a Costco Gift Card. See Wiki for details.

You'll find Glenlivet 12 Year normally priced anywhere from $25-$60, depending on your region and sales, or if ordering online, it sits in the middle to higher end of that range when including shipping costs.

Tasting notes and reviews can be found at Master of the Malt [masterofmalt.com].
While this isn't my favorite scotch, as I like them a more smokey, it has a nice light flavor and I'd highly suggest it to those who are new to scotch drinking who might get put off by really smokey scotches. And at $19.99 a bottle, you can't go wrong.

I didn't buy any today, and didn't snap any photos but kissdisap did take a photo! I'll make sure to do so when I go back into town tomorrow soon. I did buy a bottle though not long ago for $26.99, and took my receipt in to have them price adjust my previous purchase (See wiki on Costco Alcohol Price Adjustment Policy), so I got $7 back .

At least around here, that's the cheapest Glenlivet has been in recent memory. Feel free to post prices and Costco locations, and I'll keep a running list in the wiki.

Thanks kissdisap for the price label picture!

damn NJ and no liquor at costcos
In NJ department stores are allowed to sell liquor at 2 locations. For costco it is at Edison and Wayne.

But I have never seen Glenlivet $26.99, the lowest I have seen anywhere in NJ is $37.99

That's an incredible price for Lagavulin. Regularly $100+ in my area. As good as the price is for Glenlivet your example is even better.

Good to serve to people that you want to leave soon.

Spend a bit more and get something with quality if you like scotch.

My Costco has Lagavulin at $55 quite a few times throughout the year. I always get one to have on hand or to give to friends when it's at this price.

$20 is a great price for a solid, basic scotch.

Try Singleton 12 years . I like it much better than both Glenn's and it is a great value. I can get anywhere between $32 - $40. They don't have it at Costco though
They sell Singleton in the USA? I only had this in Asian and it's a fantastic drink for the price

$26.99 at Costco according to the OP. Otherwise, $23-$60 at liquor stores depending on the State.

I have an unopened bottle that I wasn't too excited about due to other reviews I've read. Nice to hear someone recommending it.

I just opened a bottle of Nikka from the Barrel and I've really been enjoying that. Granted it's a blend, and not Scotch. But it's good stuff.

When Green Label wasn't available in the States, I drank Green Label and Singleton as my daily lunch and dinner whiskey in Asia. Which Singelton did you buy? Now I'm really curious where to get them in the states

I have the Singleton 12 yo. Think I bought it from Hi Time Wine or one of the other online stores I've bought from out west.

Green Label has always been a go to for me as well. When they brought it back recently I picked up a case. lol

Pretty sure that deal is still running. If it's not, then it only ended recently, like within the last 2 weeks. I'll take a look tomorrow.

As the other user said, $23-$60, though I normally find it at Costco for $26.99 in my area, and somewhere around $30-$40 elsewhere in my area. This isn't as great of a deal as the Lagavulin deal, but it's pretty sweet.
