ha I'm wishing I would have! I had more coupons but was scared to use them and plus I want to decode them a bit better... 4/11... you use 3 of the $3/3 and 2 $1/2...you just got free pepsi....sounds like a much better deal than using 4 $1.00 etq's....lol

I completely agree with you as far as the enforcing of the "rules" by management. I used to work in a bank and it was the same way everytime they came up with a new financial product to sell, or a new customer service tactic to try. That said, the new coding of Target coupons and lack of brand name ones on their site this week is more of a concern for me, because there will be less deals to be had.

If a specific size is not stated on the coupon, or it doesn't say "excludes trials", you should be able to use it on the trials. If your cashier questions it, just point out that there is not size requirement on the coupon and you should be ok. Of course there are some cashiers that will fight you tooth and nail not to give it to you, but...legitimately, it they should put it through.

thats what i was thinking. thanks Smilie I guess I should get organized and put a list of trade Q's to put out...cos i definately can't use them all.. I'm just about organized with the ones I use so that will be the next step. what a nice hobby..it saves instead of spends. Whee take that boyfriend who spends money! Numchucks

How about it!!! My idiot SO went out and bought a dvd/vcr combo yesterday. Full price, no coupons! EEK! I could've killed him...who does that?!!?

It varies with the q. Some times one will give out more info, other times it's the opposite.

I feel your pain. I have a dozen Lowe's $10/$25 printed, clipped and hanging on the fridge. We live 1 block from Home Depot, DH is a plumber and does handyman work on the side, so basically he is in that store ALOT. He forgets them all of the time. I have even put them in his wallet and when I do laundry I see them crumpled up in his pocket! EEK! He thinks $$ grows on trees!

my wm sco run
bounty charmin - used the "elite" club coupons workedfine.....
gillette shave gel... had some p&g qs for $2..checked the upc..were matching....
after scanning cws when i went to scan the $2 q system beeped and cashier had to come over....i was so nervous.....i dont know why it beeped....

1) maybe at my wm sco the limit is $10
2) i also had a $1.xx shave gel..maybe the $2 tried to attach to $1 product and beeped....

any ideas...also after the cashier came and keyed in something could i have scanned more coupons...i was so nervous that i just paid and came out.....

does it make a difference at target if cashier uses the hand scanner vs the normal scanner...i think q's scan better with hand scanner

if i have $2/2 q's will they work the same way at walmart /walmart sco as they work at target

Same DH trouble here. I printed those Lowe's $10/25 a month or so back. I told him when he needs yard fertilizers or bug sprays for spring yard work, to go to Lowe's and use these Qs. Sure enough, a few weeks ago, he comes home with lawn stuff. I look at his receipt, it's over $50, spent at the local hardware store! Angry
I asked why he didn't go to Lowe's and use the Qs I gave him. Ooh, I didn't even think about that. DUH!

I did the same thing with Gillette shave gel last week, and the $2 Q scanned fine at SCO. I do try to make sure when using a Q in that fashion, that I don't have another product, like your $1 shave gel. I just don't want any chance of interference there, or Q trying to attach to wrong item.

At Target, the hand scanner always works better on my Qs. Some will scan on the pass of the screen, but usually they pick up the hand scanner.

I think someone said that Qs like $2/2 don't work the same at WM, but I might be wrong. I haven't tried that yet.

I agree, the $2 probably tried to attach to the $1.xx shave gel which caused the beep.

And no, the $2/2 do NOT work at wm like they do at target.

Hand scanner vs belt scanner....hand scanner works better for me too. It might be because a lot of q's they are only to scan the left side and when they scan them on the belt scanner, it is scanning the whole bar code.

and yes, you could've scanned more coupons after the cashier inputted her numbers.

Years ago, my DH thinks that anything that is clearanced is JUNK (no one wants them so they're no good).

Now, he will ask me to watch that certain item & we will buy it ONLY when it clearanced!

Same with the Lowe's $10/25 - 1/2 of his time is spent there and he kept asking if I had more of those coupons. Yes, I will start to grow them for you, dear! How many email addresses can I sign up for?

Though my DH will finally use a Q (if he remembers!), he would NEVER have the nerve to do this!

Do 992 Qs beep at WMSCO? And, does anyone know why a 992 even beeps?
