OMG - there ARE coupons in the printer tray! laugh out loud

I don't ever make a list or get the coupons out ahead of time. I HATE to have to refile when they don't have what I want. I do jot down a list of what I want to look for or what coupons I really need to use up and go for it. I just try to calculate a total in my head as I go.

I don't really care if people see me digging through my coupons, so I guess that's why it works for me. I actually put the whole tote bag (very stylish by the way - from Gap - LOL) in the cart and the boxes pretty much stay inside the bag.
See now you'll have to take a picture of it all in the cart next time you're at T so we can all see how it looks!!!!!! Anyone else agree??nod

Hey how come when I post a reply or a pm, my smiley icons are available, but when I do a regular post, they aren't? I've checked and they are enabled. TIA!

Okay - if you insist! Now THAT will make me look like a total lunatic but I am okay with that.

These have metal clasps that hold them shut (and they have keys and locks if your addiction drives you to protect your coupons to that level) LOL. They are just open in the pics. You can pick them up and turn them upside down and everything stays in place! I have a plastic thing with a rubberband for overflow. laugh out loud
It's impressive, I may think about that. I have a coupon binder that has sections and it fits into one of those plastic sterilite shoeboxes. So the binder is in the shoebox and then in front is an envie with all the coupons I want to use at target in no order. Then on the side are durex and 5/25 toy q and 3/15 party. Not sure why I do it that way but it works

Here is an interesting website....our local news is doing money saver news items and last night they compared shopping bills at Target, Walmart, Tom Thumb and Kroger. You'll like the winner!nod

Aw heck, don't those folks know that the real way to save the most is to buy in bulk, where the price is cheapest. If you can stop at more than one store to get your products, without increasing gas costs, it is definitely worth it to me.

Several of you have asked out my coupon organizers so I just posted a couple of pictures. I have two boxes. The silver one is for food/pop/gum/etc. The black one has everything else like health and beauty/cleaners/baby/etc.

*snip*
Those are very cool looking, thanks for sharing. Funny, I have some plastic Sterlite boxes that are just about the same size that I use for my clipped and sorted coupons. I got them at CVS for about $2.99. I don't usually carry them into a store, although sometimes I make an exception. Nice thing, too, is mine fits underneath the seat in my car, so I can keep it with me.

Of course, one won't hold all my coupons, I also have the ones with the accordian/rubber band get up - one for food, one for dog stuff and one for CVS. Starting to need something special for Target and WG too! Smilie

Today was my big weekly shopping run.

I got a pocket full of peelies (wasn't this ThetaKristen's song?).

*snip*!
Jealous of those SOBE LifeWater coupons. I so wish I could find one of those tear pads. Never had those in our CVS - or anywhere else around here so far.

I bought them at Staples for less than $10 a piece. The coupons are divided by manilla colored dividers. I like this because if one section grows or shrinks, the dividers grow or shrink with it. Also, I can have as many little categories as I like.

I didn't label the dividers for awhile to make sure I had the number of categories I wanted. I have been using this for several months and absolutely love it. It is perfect for me!

I posted the second pic to show how big the boxes are in relation to my laptop. I carry a tote and just throw them in. I keep the tote bag in my car and then grab it to go in the store. The bag and boxes fit very easily with my purse in the cart.
I love that your laptop is on SDLMAO Very organized, love it. This reminds me of when my Grandma shopped with q's. When I was in highschool my grandma always dragged me along (my mom was/is disabled, and my grandma was her caretaker) to do our grocery shopping (being the cool teenager that I wasLMAO I was very embarrased by the q's) and she had the same kinda box with all of the dividers, so organized. She could find a q so quickly, now if only I can do that myself.

They don't. Before I found you guys, I bought stuff when I needed it and occassionally stocked up at a "sale" but not for more than a months supply. I easily have a year of TP, paper towels and laundry detergent downstairs now

Rofl2 you need to get to clipping the q's in the printer tray...chop chop or should I say snip snip.

I have a spreadsheet that I generally plan my runs with. I plug in qty, price, MQ's & TQ's and it autosums my OOP (or overage!). I never take all of my q's with me. Just an envie with what I planned for. I use the envie to write down any notable prices. I have gone without the spreadsheet and just the envie and I ad up everything that is going in my cart and all of the coupons that I am going to use. Front side of envie is prduct, back side of envie is coupons. I'd rather have it all figured out though, because all of that math in the store means a longer trip. I like to keep my runs between 45 mins to an hour. Generally 10 minutes of that is spent picking out a cashier and waiting for the perfect time to unload my cart on their belt LMAO

If you are talking about the Pepsi coupon that expired 5/13 (last night) It scanned fine for me at Target, but not at Walgreen's. Of course I notice the Walgreen's scanners aren't usually as good as the Target ones.

What is the price of 1 can and are you able to use 2 q's on 2 cans even though they are BOGO?

I'll have to get some pictures of my stashes to post, before I give away more and yard sale some. My husband says I have overtaken his basement with all my stuff, and we have a decent size walkout basement! laugh out loud Problem is I need to get more shelves like all you gals & guys have done, instead of having boxes of everything all over the place.

At least I was able to give my mom another box with 4 Glucerna packs (4 per pack also - so 16 drinks) yesterday, and she was very happy, since she is diabetic and this is a treat for her, since it is expensive! Then to top it off I got a $10 off Glucerna coupon in the mail yesterday! She will be getting this after I use the coupon at Target of course! laugh out loud
