I would love to be able to have some quicker T runs but I don't think I've ever gotten out of there in less than an hour.
Just had a TOTALLY CRAPPY run. Ended up leaving the whole entire cart there!
The cashier was very apologetic but said they have had problems with Q's recently and needed to check them all out. This is a regular T which isn't always that busy in a small town. I have 3 others within 25 minutes of home but just went to the one near my house today. I guess I'll stay away from there for a few weeks or so and then go in with a SMALL load....(I don't know about you guys but when I get into T I get CRAZY with putting stuff in my cart). Okay, rant over.....I'm starting my new mantra....MODERATION, MODERATION, MODERATION!!!!
Devilmomma, you rock as always got your PM.

So, this week, I did 2 small runs in one day to test out the new cashiers, at different times of the day. I have been laying low with limited coupons, so for now, they are leaving me alone somewhat. We'll see how long that will last...
For a "small run" today, I had 30 qs total = 12 Joint Juice, 12 Sobe, 2 flameless, 4 Ziploc, & 4 Tropicana.
2nd small run, I had 35 qs = 12 Joint Juice, 4 Sobe, 4 Ziploc, 5 Goldfish, 4 Orville, & 3 Cracker crisp w/ 3 TQs.
OMG! I guess it's not so small once I actually count the coupons. I didn't even fill up 1/2 of the cart.
After I got home today, I got a phone call and on caller ID, it's from "TARGET STORE..."
It was a new store that just opened and I think their new number is Target's OLD #.

Went to Wally SCO for the first time. CWS worked like a champ! But slap me around and call me Sally, my unit would not even recognize or scan the Tyson or the HP paper coupons! I use these both at T without a problem....any ideas on this??
Walmart had some pampers (old Style) on an end cap marked down by a couple of dollars sizes 2 3 4 5 6, still not enough of a deal for me though.
Hhhhmmm... maybe I do need to pay att'n now to all this WM SCO chatter...
I'm sorry you had a bad run!! Just get back out there and do a small run and you'll feel much better!!
Did you get your email?
It doesn't seem like a lot of coupons until you add them up, does it? I had a huge run last weekend, hadn't been there in 2 wks, and I know I had a lot of coupons. I didn't realize just how many until I added them up. Literally a little over 100 coupons!
i also have some recently expired johnson's coupons to use. i know they'll beep, but so does everything else in my pile. my cashiers have never look at dates, so i think i should be fine with those being it's only been a few days...

No T today for me, I'm just doing my research and taking notes for next time. I did go the WMSCO today, 3 times, yes 3! I got home from my first run, and went back with DH, and then we each did a transaction. It's time consuming, since our SCOs max out at $20 coupon savings. You hit that fast with Qs for $5, 3.50, 3, etc. I am wanting to stock up on Tyson and Kraft Cheese, and a few other usual suspects. I'll take tomorrow off from there...LOL!
I now recognize one of the plain clothes security guys at WM. Saw him following a teen girl there the other night. She was acting suspicious, I saw her down the travel/trial aisle and cosmetics. And she didn't look like she was just shopping. She was as obvious as the security guy who was following her. He was crouched down at ends of rows, watching her from around the corner. He was on his phone with security at the cameras, and he was watching her on the overhead cam while she was in the cosmetic area. It was quite humorous. DH left me to shop and he followed them for entertainment. So I get to the store today, and see that security guy right away. Hope I never see him following me or asking to see my Qs!
We got home and I made the Tyson Fajitas that I got with the Tyson Q! They're in the freezer case, and come with 6 tortillas, a bag of onions/peppers, and a bag of meat. They are nothing like restaurant or grilled home made fajitas, but you know what? For $1.58 they were pretty darned edible!
A few Walgreens questions:
1. Did anyone buy Zantac today? I wonder you still get the $3 RR?
2. Has anyone had them refill black inkjet and are you happy with the quality? I use HP56 and was thinking of having them refill it for $10. I've always used HP cartridges so far.

My only refills from Walgreen's have been the free ones.
On my HP 3600 deskjet black cartridge that Walgreen's filled once, the ink was not registering to the top, and it did not seem as much Ink.
Hubby took the HP 3600 colored cartridge for his free one, and it failed the print test, but I took it home and it registered full and seemed to print OK.
On my recent HP deskjet 5440 cartridge black refill, the cartridge passed the print tests, but at home my printer does not recognize any ink being in it. I know it has ink, because it prints the black fine. I guess I will know it is empty when it dose not print anymore. I hope getting them refilled does not mess up my ink level measure.
Now again my Hubby took the color cartridge for this printer for his free one, but we have not tried it yet as I have colored ink still. This cartridge also did not pass the print test, when I picked it up, but again I guess I will try and see if it works when the time comes.
I asked what does not pass the print test mean, since I got my first colored cartridge to work. The photo guy said it is some kind of print test they perform, and if it doesn't pass this test they won't charge for the refill, however; there is still the chance that the cartridge might work. I figured the first time on the old printer it was worth the try. I am more weary on my newer printer, as at least this one prints good, but I guess I will give it a try when I need it.
oh yeah! lol! my 30 q's i used on my first big run seemed like soo many!
Two words my dear
FAMILY VACATION!
Enjoy!
