RETIRED: Target Chit Chat

Was it the new barcode cws coupon? The new ones wont go through but the old style does so i scan the old style coupon and put the new style coupon in the slot.

SO as promised...here's a quick update on my MIA status...

Apparently my ex decided while I was waiting to move to Florida and start our life together, it would be a good idea to join various online dating sites--using my money of course. We had a joint account (I know, I'm stupid) and I was putting a little money in each week to save for the move and whatnot. I didn't bother checking on it because I had no reason to worry right? Well $3,000 later and dating websites and whatnot, I found out how dumb and wrong I was.

I just keep smacking myself on the head...I'm totally one of those stupid women you see on Dr. Phil and Oprah who go on and on about all the money they were taken for and whatnot...luckily I got sick of his bullcrap and ended it. And before I could close the account, he sucked it dry...

SO I have just been busy feeling sorry for myself and whatnot, and I still havent gotten the internet (or cable tv) started at the apartment...because there is just other stuff I've done instead...but sooner or later I will have both and will be able to chat again.

Thanks to everyone for helpful PMs with random deals that I would have missed out on otherwise, and thanks to my Target shopping buddies keeping me up to date with Qs (andreasss and smurphy)....

NOW back to work!

That farkin sucks. Holy sh*t. Please let us know if you need anything. A good box of coupons will get you back on track. What an a**ho*e. I want to hurt him for you. Maybe one of us should join one of those sites and get him back. OHHHHH, now there's an idea. Who's in FL?

What are the expiration date of your old style coupons, and from which insert? 'thanks for the help!

i have some from last month and i have some that expire on 5/31 .but u can use the old ones too . And I just give them the current cws coupon not the old one. i been waiting for them to get new 3.00 cws coupons cause i have the old ones too. the old cws coupon are not coded in the barcode with expiring date . I tried to use the new barcode at walmart and it saids you have exeeded your limit it does that on all of my pg coupons even if they are pringles coupons so i think they flaged them on any the new barcode . i have the same problem with the swiffers but i got some old style swiffer coupons and they work fine.

Just fold your coupon to show and scan only the left-side barcode. This will work. When the machine is reading the right-side barcode - it will say "exceed your limit".

Boy, what some of you consider small runs! For me using 30 Qs is a large one...LOL! If I have 12-14 Qs, the cashiers are like "Wow, that's a lot!" Some day I'd like to visit a Super T, there are none in my state. I'm sure those cashiers are used to seeing a lot of Qs.

No T today for me, I'm just doing my research and taking notes for next time. I did go the WMSCO today, 3 times, yes 3! I got home from my first run, and went back with DH, and then we each did a transaction. It's time consuming, since our SCOs max out at $20 coupon savings. You hit that fast with Qs for $5, 3.50, 3, etc. I am wanting to stock up on Tyson and Kraft Cheese, and a few other usual suspects. I'll take tomorrow off from there...LOL!

I now recognize one of the plain clothes security guys at WM. Saw him following a teen girl there the other night. She was acting suspicious, I saw her down the travel/trial aisle and cosmetics. And she didn't look like she was just shopping. She was as obvious as the security guy who was following her. He was crouched down at ends of rows, watching her from around the corner. He was on his phone with security at the cameras, and he was watching her on the overhead cam while she was in the cosmetic area. It was quite humorous. DH left me to shop and he followed them for entertainment. So I get to the store today, and see that security guy right away. Hope I never see him following me or asking to see my Qs!

We got home and I made the Tyson Fajitas that I got with the Tyson Q! They're in the freezer case, and come with 6 tortillas, a bag of onions/peppers, and a bag of meat. They are nothing like restaurant or grilled home made fajitas, but you know what? For $1.58 they were pretty darned edible!

A few Walgreens questions:

1. Did anyone buy Zantac today? I wonder you still get the $3 RR?
2. Has anyone had them refill black inkjet and are you happy with the quality? I use HP56 and was thinking of having them refill it for $10. I've always used HP cartridges so far.

at my walmart i tried that too i doesn't work it still gives me the same message the barcode is little different

That is so funny! We all think alike I do the same thing! Now my husband has finally figured out why I am looking at purses and accessories (especially the ones he knows I would not buy anyway) all interestedly when it is time to checkout sometimes. He is on the lookout for a good lane, and he will alert me. Then I am a crazy women unloading, before another line opens.

I send my kid to the snack bar to wait for me because he makes me nervous and I KNOW from experience, that he is going to say something stupid while we are checking out. So he is banned from going through the check out line at Target with me.

ugh....I got the stupid tub cleaner from T....and i tried it one time and will never use it again. Maybe I'm just retarded but the pad that attaches kept falling off!!!! On the same note....I got the sb version of the mr. clean magic erasers and I'm in love!!!! I got a new vacuum yesterday and the sb erasers and went on like a 5 hour cleaning rampage...now I won't have to clean for like 2 days lol....I did get the boxed one so if someone could tell me if the other ones are any good?? i think they're like 6.xx at our wm.


Firestar...sorry i didn't get a chance to respond yesterday...it was the o'fallon wm. I was gonna try a sco run...but I watched the lady and she was actually paying attention to the screen and there were like two csm's just standing at a podium in the front of the store....but that store also had swiffer 360 dusters clearanced for 2.00 and the wet jet double refill kit for 8.00......i desp. want a wet jet but dh is super sensitive to smells and i've heard it has a very strong scent so he would probably freak out!

Where did you find the little lumene's?? i looked at the o'fallon t and no luck.

I haven't actually bought anything at T in over a week! So, I was wondering if people find it's easier to use more q's with less scrutiny at super t's than regular t's??? Because i read some of these runs and I
m like omigosh this would never fly at any of the t's here....would you say that's a fair statement firestar???
