I found a kitty once when i was a kid that had this issue, she also said it was contagious to humans i dont know if this is true... hth I would keep them away from small children if you have any ... at least untill they can get vet checked.

Thank you.. these cats have been in the house the whole time.. and none of my adult cats have it... can they just "get it" without coming from another cat?
Actually, just looked it up and distemper is
"The first visible signs an owner might notice include generalized depression, loss of appetite, high fever, lethargy, vomiting, severe diarrhea, nasal discharge, and dehydration. Sick cats may sit for long periods of time in front of their water bowls but not drink much water. Normally, the sickness may go on for three or four days after the first fever. In some cats, the fever will come and go during the illness and abruptly fall to lower-than-normal levels shortly before death."

Oh yeah, my mom's cat just had an infection in his eyes, which the Vet determined was from the litter box. Cat's tend to carry a lot of bacteria in there feces (sorry) which can lead to an infection. My mom's cat is an indoor cat and never goes outside and she keeps the litter box very clean, so this could be another option.

Upper respiratory infections are not inherently dangerous (they're like colds) but for baby kitties they can be bad just b/c their immune systems are not very strong. They'll need antibiotics which should get rid of the infection right away.
Hope they get better soon, poor little ones.
ETA: I see sagasu already gave you all the same and more better advice. So many wise folks here.
