I think my store has one of the more sophisticated updates.
I bought 2 Bounty, 2 Tide to expensive crest toothpastes, and a lot of of other things. I gave him 4 CWS and he scanned them all, none beeped and 4 are on my receipt. I have to return the expensive toothpaste now. Did this happen to anyone else. My two coupons attached to one Tide and one Bounty.

I'm confused... you said all 4 are on your receipt? Did you mean two? And that two are then "missing"? Just wanted to make sure before I tried to answer....

ETA: From what I've read, the updates aren't supposed to effect MFQs, just TQs...

Dutch-is it an implied contract when they take the coupons from us as part of the sale and close the transaction? I mean unless you're using fraudulent or copied coupons, they can't do anything for using their own ETQ's that they accept, right?

One thing learned at Target today is that I will never ask to do a return/rebuy on items that are cheaper at another Target, since they won't do a price adjustment (like they should) because I used a Target coupon which attached to the item and lowered the price below the sale price. The is crapola that the system does not allow the price adjustments, as you could have used the coupon with the cheaper priced item anyway. Especially when the coupon is good till July and you even have shown the lady the exact coupons, and you just bought the dusters the day before.

For God's sake I just wanted a PA for 6 swifter's I bought at two different stores yesterday to even another store today. Which of course I didn't think anything of, until the LOD said this involves 3 Targets, and I'm like what? hun? I wasn't even thinking I went to two different Targets yesterday, actually three looking for things that were either out of stock at one store, or not offered. They are in a line going home. LOD lady tried to say you could only get a price adjustment at the store you bought the product at. Where does she work? I personally didn't see the big deal of getting a PA on a product the next day that is practically $1 cheaper per item. Plus I noticed this store had the men's fushion sets for $5.48 last night less the $4 MQ, and I found two more coupons at home so I wanted to get a few more before they were gone. Good thing I did, there were 30+ sets left last night and only 2 left this afternoon.

I knew they wouldn't do a PA, since a Target coupon was used and the system would say price already less. So I got the rest of my swifter hang tags together, and figured I will just have to lose the value of the first six coupons I used. I figured I wouldn't lose the value of my MQ's since they refund all of this. So I thought I will just ask to return, and since I know they have to have more TQ's to take off the price I will bring my other six coupons and rebuy. Big deal right for $5 something.

The service desk lady had serious issues and couldn't understand what I was saying about losing the first TQ's. She didn't understand how I lost them, she messed up the return twice, and dropped my coupons and got all confused. Then the LOD F*Tard (credit Jen and that made me laugh) who is a coupon witch had to get involved.

She was all ticked off about it, and didn't want me to even return. Much less return and rebuy. wth? She said I couldn't rebuy from her, she had to make it fair for all the customers to be able to get those much wanted swifter dusters that were flying off the shelves. Right ok, there was probably over a 50 on the shelve when I went back, and maybe more in the back for all I know! It was not like it was a great item that went on sale, black Friday item or Christmas clearance that I bought at a different price and was clearanced out and not available anymore. So the only way to get it cheaper would be to return/rebuy. Boy the return people here must have dealt with a lot of fraud, because that lady was very nervous to do anything, then the LOD said in a very beachy voice that she was this ladies supervisor and was making sure she wasn't doing anything inappropriate. These people are retarded.

So I said fine return the items and I will go back and find them on the shelves and rebuy them with my second set of Target coupons mind you. I should have just told the first lady I am doing a return and left it at that. God I can't believe how hard that was. I lost $7.50 in TQ after all, just trying to get a price adjustment from $3.84 to $2.99 for 3 from one store, and $3.74 to $2.99 for 3 from the other store. I guess I will have to find more hang tags.


Like big deal you went to two Targets in a day or three even. People do that all the time, when one Target did not have something they need, or something on sale is not there or not even offered at that particular store. And in the case of us woman when you are trying to match up an outfit or something. When you live out as far as I do you hit as many stores in a row as you can, so that you can maximize your gas. I have to get everything I need to pay the rich greedy oil man's price, I am the common man as most of us are!

Holy smoke, next time I will just return, and not explain anything like my husband does and not have any problems. To top it off I lost $5 in my change somehow from re-buying in line with the young kid. He was so flustered after the lady in front of Me's coupons then mine (not as nearly as many, but still some). Plus I had two separate orders, because I am not sure if this store has had the update yet, so I didn't know if I could use more than 3 swifter's TQ in one order or not. So I put 3 swifter's on the first order. Then I did a second order, and when I got home my money is about $5-$6 short. Maybe not much to most, but after all the grief trying to get a PA, losing $7.50 in TQ and having to get new swifter's off the shelf and rebuy in line because the lady was a witch I was pretty upset. I called the store and asked them to see if the kids drawer comes up $5 over, because I want to know what happened more than the $5. Did I drop it or what, my husband says he would have noticed. Anyway, they said they would call me after AP reconciled the drawer. To top it off I think it was the as... LOD, but of course she doesn't know who I am, and I didn't bring up the swifter's. I just told her the transaction numbers, and please have them check the drawer for overage.
