Yeah no kidding. No one was laughing here. Lucky they had the protocol for it though
Really the Greatland I go to has about the same amount of food as one other regular Target (which is a little more than the other regular Targets), and it does have additional freezer space. And strangely enough they are cheaper than some of the regular Target's and they are even in one of the more ritzy towns. That is because the one regular Target with more food than the others thinks it is the OC or something (they are at 10% or more higher on many items than other stores). The tax rate in this town is the highest around, and my town is the second highest around. No wonder I travel to shop, no Target's in my Town anyway, only Wally! These towns are newer and building up, but the housing market overall is terrible. I wonder what they do with all the money, as I haven't seen as many improvements in my town as I would have expected after they collect such high tax and increase the property taxes yearly! One of my neighbors is almost a billionaire, and you could never tell by how modest he lives. He is like 90, and he is very frugal is putting it nicely! Anyway he is friends with all the city guys and they all have money, but the town could use many more improvements!
I went to a nice guy cashier (likes to K1) and did the Perfect 10 deal - buying 3, using 2 BOGOs + $2 MQ ........... FORGOT to give (3) $5 ETQs.
When he told me the total, I kept staring at the screen for about 2 minutes. Quick calculations about why it's so high did not work within that timeframe.

I purchased two of the cheaper Venus razors for $4.69 or so. I gave the $4 off MQ, but didn't even think about trying the $2 off current TQ. I can't go back and ask them to apply the coupons, becuase the $4 MQ attached and it looks like I only paid .69 or so. So I don't think they will apply the $2 off coupons. What does everyone else think, whould they try for an adjustment, or would they just let it go?
Anyway I could have kicked myself when I figured this out, as it was $4.

I usually don't like them to look too closely at my receipt. For $4, we can make it up with 4 Durex.
Very true! Now if I would only ever buy the Durex!

Speaking of which, I wanted to get rid of a few at lunch at my grocery store. I really should have split my order more but wanted to get rid of some. Had someone come by and check on me but I wished her away. Then someone came to empty the drawer. OK. Then the store lost power for a sec and my order was frozen. So people came over and said they'd have to match up the previous q's to the items and then will input the rest. I'm like, people, I'm going back to work. I don't have time for this crap. And walked out. BTW, coupons were all perfectly fine but I didn't have time to sit there and hear, is that the exact spice you got, blah blah blah
So then I get home and my work computer has funny message on the screen. It's dead. Hard drive crash during lunch. Holy cow. Impossible to work on just my web mail and handheld. They're shipping me new one.
I did fix my home wireless access during the afternoon since nothing else was working.
I hope this isn't bad luck for my target run tonight

In my culture, we strongly believe in superstition. (True or not, I go by gut instinct.)
One time, I pulled into Target's parking space and a lady was standing next to my SUV (that sucker takes up all the allotted space).
She started banging on the passenger-side window and screaming at me to move over so she can get her body into her car. Not very nice language btw. During this whole time, not a word was uttered by me.
As I started to back out to go park somewhere else, I noticed that her kids were right at the back of my tail pipes.
Needless to say, there was no bloodshed. But my trip to Target was ruined, even before it started. I backed out and went to a grocery store next door...
Should I feel singled out when the manager comes over to over-ride the coupon total or is it not a big deal?
The cashier looked at my cart which I only had 25 items or so and said to the manager "She got all that!" and the manager was like "WOW" and put her key in and the receipt popped out. I felt a little embarassed.

Just Perfect 10'd (RED) my hair for the first time with this product. Beeper is about to go off. Hope it looks good when it's done! My usual color is Garnier Nutrisse, but I had to try this one!
That used to happen to me every time I shopped at Jewel (grocery store chain in Chicago). The cashiers would *yell* across the store "COUPONS!" and the manager would pass the key over. They never cared-- and eventually I kind of liked it b/c I knew it meant I had done a good job.
See. . . this is exactly what I was saying yesterday! If only I had realized my near-miss car accident was a sign of a bad T run, I just would have gone home! I must learn to trust my gut more.
I LUV U GUYS
I had the same thing happen to me. A lady in a nice car left her T cart 1 inch from my cars front bumper. I got out and thought she would put it away since the cart return was 2 car lengths down. I got out and said "Aren't you going to put your cart away!" she replied "NO" I said "WOW LAZY!" and as soon as I got to the front entry of T she started yelling "YOU REALLY SHOWED ME, YOU ARE A (insert bad name here)." I just kept walking knew the outside cameras would catch anything she wished to do to my car.
DD walked into my work and told me that Mr. so and so took it home he thought it was theirs. Mind you we have been trying to track down this farking thing since 5/13!!!
