So I have the cashier start taking stuff off because the call didn't come until everything was rang up. While removing items the register freezes, he calls someone because he doesn't know how to unfreeze it. We wait over 10 min (So I seperate my items & coupons into three orders) and finally the red phone rings again and they tell him how to unfreeze the register. Then I have him void the whole order, I would have left it all but the only thing they seemed picky about was 20 q's per order not a care as to what ones.
The GSTL or whatever she is comes over after paying for last transaction and asks if everything is okay here, and I say not really. She says they got a memo from corporate today and they are limiting all q's to 10 of each per transaction and no more buying trial size items with coupons at all even it there is no size restriction. I didn't have one trial size item in either of my 3 transactions!
I got in checkout line about 9:30 pm and left the store at 10:30 pm the very last customer, they close at 10 pm! STUPID! I don't know what the hell that accomplished except a huge PITA for me, cashier, and the other people trying to check out at closing.
If I had know I would have to do three transactions I would have used up more of my BOGO hair color, I should have ran back and grabbed 4 more. Then I would be out of coupons!

So, perhaps that is why things are so hush-hush and people speaking in some foreign code language.
Anyways, thanks for answering the update q. My mother was just out and purchased quite a bit of coffee with the target cpns with no problems, so it must not have hit here yet.
