Wife's 50th birthday is Sunday, 2/14 (she'd love that I shared that :lol)
Chocolate-dipped strawberries delivered today
Picking up flowers for her tomorrow
Dinner out Saturday night (dining out on Valentine's Day sucks)
Gifts on Sunday. The "big" gift is a trip to Europe this summer, which she already knows about.
ibt "look at me" etc.
Also, a reminder to everyone:

Haven't researched yet...I'm a planner, and I've been told it's best to plan out what we want to do each day for efficient use of our time. Usually our vacations are at the beach, and it's a struggle for me to NOT want to plan daily activities.

The Vatican was awesome. Definitely worth it. If you don't get a scheduled tour time, get there early.
Rick Steves gave some good tips for Paris - we went to one of the cafes he recommended and met plenty of American tourists but also had good food and wine.
On the day you fly in, check if your hotel will let you check in early or at least hold your stuff since I'm guessing you guys will arrive in the morning.
When did this turn into the "MLV going to Europe" thread?
You can also access the Louvre through an underground mall where the line is very minimal.
