So, tomorrow I'm going to call and get a confirmation as to one or the other. In the pop-up it said 10 days. I wonder, is that 10 days to get the cheque or 10 days to get the paper work to fill out to send back to them then it will be whenever before I get the cheque?
I posted of my win for a few reasons.
#1) Like many of you I too questioned as to IF anyone ever wins or has ever won from Newport. I've been entering every single one of their contests for years now on a daily basis and never won. On this contest I calculated that the odds for one person was 1 in 86,400 (daily at 60x60x24) and that does not include even further calculations as to how many users there are on the site. So yeah, the odds are slim!
#2) In posting about my win I was hoping to find at least 1 person that has also won so that I may ask them as to what the process is/was before I actually have the money in hand.
#3) If this win is true and was not a glitch on their part, it proves that at least one real life person actually did win something from them.
#4) I'd be tickled pink if someone from here wins the grand-daddy prize of $100,000 AND that they post about it! Granted I would LOVE that kind of money but I do not want/need or desire the hassle of the taxes, etc. I'm content with the $500.
