One thing that people might want to consider installing is a screen filter app on their device. It will allow you to dim the screen while still playing videos or listening to the TV etc. so that the device uses less power, stays cooler, and generally lasts longer.
So may I suggest you try again and if that doesn't work - you'll have to email/tweet PERK
IF YOU ARE ANDROID
1. uninstall the viggle app
2. install viggle 3.0
After updating and linking/inputting both your viggle & perk passwords You are now in Perk - viggle points no longer exists ONLY PERK POINTS
3. Go to the menu bar (top left 3 lines/bars)
4. See if you find "Exchange Viggle Points" on the list on the right - mine was the 7th one down
Then you can begin to exchange some viggle points for perk points
but the viggle app will now show only perk points
if the exchange viggle points is not there - tweet/email PERK
My viggle & Perk are the same email addresses so that is not the problem.
REMEMBER that once you link both accounts - viggle will only show PERK POINTS - and if you didnt convert any viggle points, then they are not there - they are still in the exchange tab
It's been noted throughout the thread that Androids were easier to convert viggle points than IOS so tweet/email PERK so they can find a solution
you can xfer 20k viggle additional for every 1k perk points you earn. You can earn anywhere from 1k a day easily to 4-5k with farms.
So lets just say you decide to continue to viggle at the minimum and earn 1k each day. For 2.65 million viggle pts it will take you about 4 months to liquidate those points. Have fun with that lol.
I'm in the same boat but I'm using the browser tabs + 2 devices and I'm averaging about 300 pts an hour...so roughly 3k perk pts a day so I can convert 60k a day. I have to roughly do what I'm doing for basically a month to liquidate my viggle pts.

I'm not new to Perk or Viggle but I feel clueless on the new Viggle 3.0 app, some ads credit, a lot don't. No rhyme or reason.

VIGGLE 3.0 TIPS AND TRICKS / ADDITIONAL INFORMATION EARNING POINTS
Many thanks to those who helped offer tips, i'll clean this up and organize it better, but PLEASE READ THROUGH THIS!!! THIS SHOULD HELP MOST EVERYONE! ANDROID AND IOS (Though certain iOS devices act differently, so you could follow the Android tips first to see, if not, then it's an issue that Viggle/Perk are working on!!!)
As for Perk TV Live...its the best earner but you need the phone on while you watch. Its tied to clicking ads etc. So lots of babysitting.
PPQ requires no babysitting unless it hangs or crashes...earns about a 1 pt every few mins.
Perk TV requires minor babysitting you have to click "are you still watching" randomly it use to be 4 hours then 2 hours then 1 hour....but the apps been having problems the last week.
A few other apps that require your attention.
Anyways you average about .02-.06 cents an hour per device running those apps with varying degrees of babysitting. Personally I think its gonna get worse look at how fast they nerfed the browser this morning since the launch of Viggle 3.0. Gone are the days where you just check-in into bonus shows for 30 mins and cash out gift cards each week.
My recommendation:
1. Log out of Viggle. Hard close the app.
2. Relaunch Viggle. You should get a message saying "Are you a current Viggle user? Log into your Viggle account first before creating a Perk account."
3. Log into Viggle using your Viggle credentials
4. Follow the prompts to then link your existing Perk account. Make sure the accounts use the same email address. (You don't need to open Perk TV app at all.)
5. Once you're into the app, you should have the option in the menu (three lined icon in top left) to convert points.
It's possible that you will do this and still not be able to see that option. That's precisely what happened to me last night. I was initially trying on iPhone 6. So, then I tried following these steps on a Droid (LG Fuel), and it worked just fine. I converted points with the Droid. Afterward, I logged back in on my iPhone and the option was listed in the menu, unlike before. But this morning, the option has once again disappeared from my app on the iPhone. So it appears the app is still rather buggy.

If you don't earn much on Perk, it will take a long, long time to convert all of your existing Viggle Points. However, you can speed it up tremendously if you do qualify for the additional conversions.
Android

A couple other things to try:
1. Log in on a different device if you have one, an iPad instead of the droid for instance.
2. Log out, delete the app, re-install, and go through the steps again.
3. Wait like a patient grasshopper for the bugs to get fixed.

TO EXCHANGE YOUR VIGGLE POINTS TO PERK POINTS:
1. Tap on the Menu Bar on the top left in the app (the three line bars)
2. You should see "Exchange Viggle Points" (or something to that nature)
3. ANDROIDS: Most Androids can see this... IOS: Most cannot see this OR they see a white screen - - - - - - - VIGGLE AND PERK SAID THEY ARE AWARE AND ARE WORKING ON THIS ISSUE! BUT, TRY THESE TIPS AND SEE IF YOU CAN KICK IT IN, IF NOT, EMAIL [email protected] YOU MUST TROUBLESHOOT THEN EMAIL IF TROUBLESHOOTING DOES NOW WORK!!!
tips for troubleshooting: uninstall and install the 3.0 app again!! Restart Your Device! Try those tips, IF IT DOES NOT WORK AFTER A FEW ATTEMPTS, Email [email protected]

ALSO TO NOTE: FOR EVERY 1000 PERK POINTS YOU EARN, YOU CAN EXCHANGE YOUR 20,000 VIGGLE POINTS.. THERE IS NO LIMIT!! SO, TO THOSE WHO SAY IT WILL TAKE THEM YEARS, IT ACTUALLY WON'T IF YOU DO YOUR MAX OF 60,000 A MONTH, THEN THRU EARNING 1000 PERK PTS FOR EVERY 20,000 VIGGLE POINTS

TO EARN POINTS THROUGH THE VIGGLE 3.0
1. Click on the tile that says Earn Perk Points
2. A small pop up on the right top corner will appear and say: SHOW or SONG or CANCEL
3. Click on SHOW and it will immediately start listening to your TV/SOUND
4. FOR NOW, YOU MUST STAY ON THE CHECK IN PAGE TO EARN POINTS: BUT THE CEO OF PERK ANNOUNCED THEY ARE WORKING ON THIS SO WE DO NOT HAVE TO STAY ON THAT PAGE... BUT FOR NOW, YOU MUST STAY ON THAT PAGE!
I noticed I made decent points last night on the bonus shows, by staying in the app... I made 76 points off Survivor (75 for the commercial breaks and 1 point for checking in) IN VIGGLE DAYS RECENTLY, we would earn 180 points off that particular Survivor last night.. Well you would have made 76 through Perk, and using the conversion rate of 20:1, we earned WAY more for the show than we would have for Viggle.. You have to change your mindset to grasp this concept and move forward with these changes.. And what will make these changes better is when they fix it where we don't have to stay on the check in page, but have to be there during the commercial break
ANDROID USERS: THERE ARE PROBLEMS W/ THE AD GETTING STUCK AND NOT MOVING! Point blank, until they fixed this issue, we can't Viggle on our Android as far as doing Check Ins... we will only get that ONE POINT for checking in, and the ads after the first commercial break puts a halt to our earning anything off the show

THIS IS FROM VIGGLE TO HELP Y'ALL UNDERSTAND HOW THE POINT EARNINGS IN CHECKING INTO A SHOW USING THE VIGGLE APP
In case some of VIGGLERS don't understand the value they are getting with the Perk point structure--which is understandable if taking a surfaced look--here's a breakdown.
With Perk's point structure a user can earn 20-60 Perk Points per hour using Viggle, which is actually more than they were earning before Viggle 3.0. For example, the Viggle-to-Perk conversion is 20:1. So, if one converts 20-60 Perk Points to Viggle Points, that means users are now earning 400–1200 per hour (IF Perk Points were Viggle Points), as compared to 120–600 (2x-10x) Viggle Points per hour.
Plus, there are no daily point limits, and they are not restricted to earning points in only the Viggle app because again THERE ARE NO LIMITS!

---- the device you are using, which means, state whether it is an ANDROID or IOS device, what kind of device (example: iPad Mini or Galaxy Note Edge) AND include OS Version (aka your OPERATING SYSTEM VERSION, as in Android KIT KAT 4.0 or IOS 4 whatever!)
if you include enough information, your problem will be resolved a lot quicker.. AND THE TONE OF YOUR MESSAGE should be professional, not a tyrant cussing them out! Keep a level headed mild temper when writing!!

QUESTION: I also learned that if we check into a show during the day, or one that is NOT on the carousel, we will get about 3pt per ad, some times 2pts. However for the carousel shows, if we check in the pt amounts are either 2x or 3x.. I was told by perk that we have to check in live in our area, but have not tested that yet.
ANSWER: i did test it last night, and i still earned 3 pts off every commercial break (some 4 pts) for shows that were off the DVR and some from the night before etc!! THE BONUS SHOWS i believe must be live, but don't quote me, b/c i did check into a bonus show live last night that was a 2x, and still earned points as if it wasn't a bonus!!!! BUT i checked into Modern Family AFTER it was live and DID earn bonus points for it... so just watch the TRANSACTION HISTORY in another app or on a computer to make sure the points are posting correctly.. What it says in the app is not necessarily what is adding to your perk Total!!! It's usually MORE! So always check, until we get the hang of things...

CHECK IN BONUS: gives you extra Perk points for each commercial ad break that you watch during the duration of a show. The 2x badge means you'll get 2 points instead of 1 pt for every ad you watch.
VIGGLE LIVE: lets you play along when your favorite shows are on the air by answering trivia and polls.
QUESTS: are a special promotion with multiple shows. Click on the info link to learn how to complete the Quest for points and prizes.
STREAKS: are a special promotion with a single show over multiple weeks. Click on the info link for the deeds on the streak.
