YEP just tested it again.. i checked into Amazing Race again (lol for the 3rd time tonight) and went straight to the VL, and i'm earning the points for the check in.

what is happening is the commercial break is playing the ads while i am in the VL, and i know the ads don't play while you are in the VL b/c when i played How To Get Away With Murder last night, i wasn't never checked in, i just did the straight VL and there were no ads.. so these ads i'm getting while i'm in the VL and checked into the show at the same time, is the commercial breaks, and i guess that's why i'm earning the points... i am trying to make sense of all this and test things.. so ignore me right now... i just want to Viggle!!! hahaha

ok thanks!! well, i need to go check some things, and get your answer! I will definitely get back w/ you after i find something out (or if i don't find an answer, then i'll still let you know something!!!) i just know it's been a long last couple of days w/ this transition, and i'm so worn out lol. i don't even work for Viggle but yet i been trying to help a lot of people, so thanks for your patience, and i hope i can find out your answer for you! I would recommend deleting the Viggle app from your device. Then reinstall it and start again.

When you open it for the first time, it will ask if you are already a Viggle user, and if you are, it will prompt you to 1) log-in with your Viggle credentials and then 2) link to your Perk account OR create a Perk account.

If you are showing ZERO in your Viggle balance in the menu, then I must assume you have not linked your Viggle and Perk accounts properly (or the app has prevented you somehow from doing so). Deleting the app and re-installing will allow you to try again.

One way you can tell if your accounts are actually linked: log out of the Viggle 3.0.0 app and the Hard close it. Open the app again and log in with only your previously existing Viggle credentials. If the app opens up with ONLY your Viggle credentials and then shows your current Perk Points on the main interface, then you know that the two accounts are linked. If it prompts for you to link or create a Perk account, the link doesn't exist between the two accounts yet.

If it doesn't work, you'll need to contact Customer Support because there is something wrong with your individual Viggle account and linking it to your Perk account.

Thanks for the info! Yes, I have been doing that log out/log back in and could not figure out why my linking accounts would not stick. Looks like I will need to contact customer support. Thanks again for the intel!

Was anyone else getting 10 points every segment for Hawaii 5-0? I checked in and was getting 10 points then the app crashed and when I checked back in it was at 2 points a segment????

so is there technically not a way to earn "viggle points" anymore? i just noticed my songs were only worth 1 perk point a piece...

That is correct. You can no longer earn Viggle Points. You can earn only Perk Points with the Viggle app from now forward. Bear in mind that 1 perk point is 1) equivalent to 20 Viggle points at the current exchange rate and 2) can be redeemed for actual rewards, unlink Viggle points.

wtf is this thing? I went to perk tv thru chrome & this screen came up. Nothing is giving 10 pts ... they all say up to 2. Oh boy I got 4 pts for an ad. Where are these 10 pts Miss Dawg was saying we could get? Plus the app crashed after the ad played. Once this is fixed, is there any way to get the ads to play automatically without having to babysit the phone & hit start every 30 seconds?

If this is perk tv, you can have it.

going to bed. nothing has worked all day. Also, I guess the answers I posted earlier to the pop quiz didn't help anyone so I'm not going to do any more. Perk is more exhausting than Viggle ever was, even with the freezes playing vl the past few weeks. I don't know how anyone is able to convert 100k Viggle pts so quickly with all the failures of everything. I can't seem to get anywhere with points today. Hopefully this will get better by next week.
