Welcome back to SD tourney after a change in shift I am back to the tourney in question. The tourney started out good where I got a couple hands early and got a little chip lead at 2600 chips.

week 13 writeup by hewhoroams

After a few weeks of some poor showings by myself, I had resolved to come in playing a bit tighter and more aggressive than my normal style. Apparently that worked for me.
It was 10 hands before I even limped to take a pot with an ace high, effectively getting a blind back. Lylac ended up winning a big pot right after with Q's and 2's, one of those hands I'm glad I wasn't involved in.
My tight play made me drop A9 when redjen was holding a pair of kings, but I wasn't too torn up about it. Shortly after, Lylac brought in a huge pot with a full hosue 6 full of 9's, knocking out Bill's trip 9's.
Action was slow for a bit longer, and I managed to lose a few chips with my KK55 to Brunick's KK66. The 34th hand had a little action, with RL hitting a straight and forcing me out with a pair and ace kicker. I was licking my wounds a little, but it wouldn't be the last chips I lost to RL.
A few more medium/small pots passed by, and I found myself sitting in a bad short stack. John mentioned he had more chips in another tourney, and I could tell he was playing a bit tighter, probably paying more attention to the other one. Still, with trash hands I couldn't even get involved in a pot. I managed to use trip jacks to get back to 1500, but still no one else had been eliminated.
Hand 67 saw 3 ladies hit the flop, which was a bit of a scare. I had pocket 3's and put a little agression into it, figuring I wasn't against another pair. Got lucky a little, and won myself back into a decent stack.
This is where I got moved to another table, so I had to figure out a few more people. I was glad that I wasn't in last anymore though, so I could take some time to get some reads.
Not sure what happened at my old table, but we merged a few hands later.
I pulled in a big pot when I paired my A9, and got a call from chess. Not sure if he thought I was bluffing, but I was not, and took him for good chunk of change. In fact, I went from last to first in one hand. Since I was being dealt trash, I went and grabbed an otter pop to help pass the time.
Chess was eliminated in hand 88 with 2 pair against trips.
A few hands later Plite went all in with 2 pair as well, but I river flushed him. I'm not a big fan of playing the river flush draw, but his small stack gave me great odds on making it, and for once the numbers didn't lie.
A couple of people pushed pre-flop over the next few hands, but didn't get any callers. I was hoping to ride my top stack for a while, but I'm not the type to just sit on chips and not play. Which of course made me think when I drew KK. I had to play it. The board came low cards, but a possible straight, but with the raising that was going on, I put Hawkette on another high pair, and I was praying not AA. Of course during prayer god said 'hey its kings, just play it!". He was wrong, and I quickly lost my chip lead to AA. Taking ace magnets to a whole new level with that one.
Hawkette was kind enough to return some money a few hands later when i again flushed against her 2 pair (I was seeing a pattern, but it would later be broken).
Hawkette eliminated Lylac with a flopped straight against pocket jacks, which took us down to 6 players.
People started to tighten up, so I was a bit surprised when I drew a KJo and dave pushed bogey in. Seeing a little scrum starting, I didnt like my kojak and folded my way out. The flop was 668a8, so dave's rockets left him with the full house being John's 2 pair.
Dave, Hawkette and I were sitting around 6k in chips with RL and Bogey closer to the starting stack at this point. They ended up going to head to head after a few minutes, with RL pulling pocket 9's on top of the board pair to win it.
With the chips basically even across the board, the play was extremely tight for a while. I ended up getting knocked down to 1800, but the following hand I rivered a flush that got RL to fold to bring me back to level on the chip stack. I quickly returned those chips to him in a bad call with A6s as he won with a second high card on a trash board.
Action was dry for a while with 4 players remaining until RL and I both drew big slick and went all in, and split the pot.
I ended up sticking around on a strange pot with a 3 in hand and on the board, when 4th street gave me another 3, i moved all in and took some chips back from Hawkette.
Hawkette pushed a while later with A10, and I called her with pocket 10's. The flop was small cards, and i knocked her out.
Down the final 3 of Rl, myself, and Dave.
Almost 30 hands passed before any action came around. Dave pushed a few times and no one called. Finally he did it again and I called with QQ. Another trash board didn't help his 8's and I went over his 2 pair with a higher one. Leaving it RL and me heads up.
I was just over double RL's chip stack, so feeling pretty good about the heads up. He went all in on the first hand, which had me a bit worried. But easy fold with j8.
I gave him back some of his chips to even it up a few hands later when the ace on the river busted my hand. I folded in safety, figuring he had AX.
I bullied and drew some 2 pair for a while, and ended up doubling him up again. So when I had top pair going into the final hand, it was an easy call. RL flipped middle pair, but had a flush draw. 4th street 2 paired me, but I hardly noticed as I was waiting the suit and not the number. River brought an off suit 3, and that ended the evening with a 19458 chip pot.

Week 11 write-up by A10

Well lets see, got slapped upside the head with the deck early on but no players...a few small pots...Then seems to be a trend here, knocked GP out then things picked up. Again not sure what was up with the crowd tonight, I raise pre-flop everyone folds, so kept with the theme buying numerous pots (good thing bobby's not around). Then Lylac got lucky AGAIN when his 2 pair trumped my 2 pair on the river. Alot of give n take for a while, then got revenge when my pocket 7's held against Lylac. Heads up against RL pretty even chip stack, went back to I raise he folds, crippeled RL when I bet my 93 heavy and he (so he says folded A9... ) final hand my A10s held agains 910os. Until next week.

Week 10 write-up by Lylac Crazy

Little better turn-out this week. We started with around 12 players. Kind of boring, slow play for the first hour. This week I was at least getting some picture cards to play, knlmwq was the only one jumping out to a small early lead with over 2k in chips. a10mechs wins a few early too. HeWhoRoams takes a big hit about 12 minutes in with a loss, a pair of K's loses to a10mechs' A in the hole and A on the flop.. That was the start of great losses. Almost 40 minutes in we go to final table. Bogey is the chip leader and I'm scrapin' with 1100 chips. My turn around hand finally comes when I'm down to 1k. I catch KK and get Bogey419 to go all in with me.. iconians was the first to go at the final table just after the hour break. After that someone would fall here and there with great hole cards.. AA was losing, 2 pair on the flop, three of a kind. No guarantees with anything last night. When it was down to 3, RL007 was destroying Plite and I. He had 11k to 2k to 4k respectively. The main hand that night, I took a chance going all in against RL with an open ended str8 and flush draw and cought the flush. That put me ahead of RL007. Next big blind for me i have 67 spades. RL raises, I call just for a chance. Sure enough 3 spades. Little bet. no spade. I go all in RL calls and he was looking for a 4th spade for his A spades in the pocket. I kind of had too many chips for Plite to want to make a run. Great nite. Thanx

Week 9 write-up by Bogey

At least there were no hurricanes in my neck of the woods this week. We started out the night with 9 runners and I was on the bubble in an Omaha H/L SNG when this tourney started. I was not paying much attention to what happened the first 10 or so hands trying to keep up with both. I busted out in 3rd at the SNG (ship the $6.00!) and then turned my attention to this.

As I looked over the HH's today I noticed that there was very little action, a lot of check, bet, fold hands with very few showdowns in the first 40 or so hands. First 'action' hand for me was when I held AQo in the SB. 3 limpers, blinds are 25/50 and both blinds stayed, so five of us saw the flop. 10c 10s Qs gave me nice two pair with top kicker, I checked because with 4 behind me to act, I wanted to flush out that 10. RL bet 150 and I knew he was full of it, so I raise him to 350, Plite pushes it to 550 and Iconians goes over the top all in for 1700ish totalโ€ฆI think we've found a 10 here somewhereโ€ฆ RL folds, I fold and Plite calls with that 10 I was worried about. Iconians had every out imaginable (I can't even count that highโ€ฆ) with a straight flush draw and hit the straight on the river for the first KO, 46 hands in. I, of course, would have gotten a bigger straight, but if I could play fantasy poker all the time, I'd be a wealthy manโ€ฆ

The very next hand is one we all wished RL had a web cam for to see his reactionโ€ฆone limper (Lylac), RL raises to 175, bbrunick calls, and Lylac calls. Flop is J46 rainbow. Bbrunick bets 50 and RL calls. Turn comes an A, both check. River is another Jack, Bess bets 150, RL calls and Bess shows Ah4h to win with two pair over RL's pocket 10s.

Justice was served later as RL's 10's held up against bbrunick's Ax when he put her all in and knocked her out.

A little later, A10mechs knocked Lylac out with KK over 33 and then he took out tripp with 9 10 suited for runner, runner straight against tripp's 66. At this point we're 5 handed and I'm at 1100 in chips not having been involved in any major pots. Right after I noticed this, Pokerstars shined down on me with some nice hands. In succession, QQ, 1010, AJo took down some blinds and bets, nothing major, but now I had some chips to play with. I caught AKo and reraised HeWhoRoams (I started calling him HeWhoNeverFolds for a while because he had abused me a few times earlierโ€ฆ) to take a few of his chips going into the break. We stood at:

iconians (3280 in chips)
a10mechs (3160 in chips)
HeWhoRoams (1820 in chips)
RL007 (2470 in chips)
Bogey419 (2770 in chips)

Two hands after the break I knocked out HeWhoRoams when I 4x opened with JJ, hoping no one would call but he did. Found trip Jacks on the flop and his Aces and 5's weren't enough. A few hands after that I had pocket 5's and went set mining from the cutoff. 45Q was a pretty good flop for me, but two hearts had me worried until the turn when another Q hit, and what I thought was a meaningless 4 on the river. RL called me down on every street only to show his pocket 4's. He was less than happy that his 4's over Q's were beaten by my 5's over Q'sโ€ฆ Pot was about 3k and put me out in front nicely.

The very next hand, iconians JJ would not continue the run when RL's A4 suited (he said it was a monster when Bess beat him with that handโ€ฆ) ran out for two pair.

At this point I was around 6500 and the other 3 were all close to 2500 and I stepped on the gas. I won't say I had horrible cards through this, but they probably weren't all winnersโ€ฆ Smilie I abused the bubble for a while with preflop raises and continuation bets when those got called to bring my stack up to ~8k

I got my first bounty ever when RL took A10mechs down to 300 chips the hand before with AK beating A4 (what's up with RL and A4?). I put A10mechs all in with K6 suited against his 24 and burst the bubble.

I took one hit 3 handed when iconians doubled through me with 5's against my AJ, but a few hands later RL ran into my pocket Aces against his A8 and I had my chip stack back up and iconians and I were heads up. I had about 10k in chips and he had around 3k. I just started playing my stack not really even looking at the cards, but the next 7 hands I took down by raising or getting a walk. He caught me a couple times, but I got away from those hands and finally came down to him going all in, K4 against my pocket 9's. I have to say I got some great cards this week, but I think I played them pretty well. The play all around seemed very solid, especially when we got down to 4 handed which made it fun.

Thanks again to iconians for putting this on!
Greg

Week 8 write-up by A10Mech

Well after a piss poor turn out due I'm sure to Hurricane Fay.....I'm assuming here.....things were up an down until I knocked out GP when my 65s trumped his pocket 7's with a straight draw (always nice to knock the B-inlaw out)....after that alot of give and take....called P-lites...all in with A-4 with a gut shot didn't get lucky left me with only roughly 500 in chips lucked out, tripped next hand then again....called p-lite's all in with AJos this time beat his pocket 6's...all of a sudden I was chip leader again....after that the dealer was on my side (or Tequlia) knocked out p-lite attempt to get back in with A9, 5 to 1 chip lead over icon....my Q8s out drew his A6os to end it.That's All Folks!!

Week 7 ( I think ) write-up - GiantPeach aka Yardboy

I felt like I was just hanging on my my fingertips most of the first 3/4 of this tourney. My stack stayed right around 1k - up a little, down a little, lucky break here, no hit there. We were at 5 players for what seemed like forever. I was just trying to hold on and make it to third because I'm down to like $4 in my account and if I want to play next week I've got to make a deposit. Smilie

At four players it was me and Lylac Crazy at about equal stacks and trying to see who could outlast the other past the bubble. Lo and behold, Tripp took a bad hit and then got crushed by my flopped set of 8's. A few hands later HeWhoRoams took out Lylac and we went heads up with me outstacked a little worse than 2 to 1. We jockeyed around for 26 hands and then got all-in my AT versus his 55. The QKK flop left me with additional outs, the T on the turn put me ahead and the blank on the river left me up about 4 to 3.

At that point I just started leaning on him, raising every third hand or so and stealing blinds. I knocked most of his last legs out when my 32 offsuit turned a straight, leaving him with only 4k. 11 more hands jockeying around and then the final hand, which was decidedly ho-hum. I had 42 offsuit on a 28TJ5 board and called his two small bets feeling pretty sure he had nothing but not really worried in case he did. He didn't.

Week 6 writeup (by Bogey419)
After my dubious re-debut last week (busting out early while I was deep in a Razz tourney and not paying too much attention), I was able to pull off a win. My theme tonight was 'suckout with straight draws' and I played it pretty wellโ€ฆ

First one was against RL where I held QJ in the cutoff. Four of us saw the flop of K52 and checked around to a 9 on the turn where RL007 bet out 80. Just because I've done this to him before in a home game, I called it. 10 hits the river and my 'trap' is setโ€ฆ RL bets 200, I raise him to 450, willing with all my heart for a call, and he folds. I debated on showing this hand, but because I knew it'd get under his skin, I showed my suckout and took the abuse.

Hung around for a while longer when I woke up with AKo in the SB with Big John raising from the button. Flop came AK7 with 2 hearts. Check, bet, raise, re-raise, call and BigJohn's AQ lost giving me a decent stack for the FT.

Nothing too remarkable for a while after that other than shur1k3n's stack size when we got down to 5 players. He was sitting on 10k in chips while none of us were above 5K. We played 5 handed for quite a while then my inner donk came out for a hand. I decided to 3x JTo in the cutoff because I just hadn't seen many hands of late and was getting bored. Flop J86 and I fell in love with my top pair, crappy kicker. I bet, got called by shur1k3n. Turn was 5, I bet big, got raised and called it. River is a 4 and shur1k3n checked. I finally got a clue and decided I was falling out of love with top pair, crappy kicker and checked. He showed AJ for the win. Donked off 3K of my 4500 chips in that pot and was pissedโ€ฆ

7 hands later I get ATo in the BB. Still steaming a little from playing like a donk led me to make a pretty loose call of ahnil8er's all in raise with KQo but we were 2 of the 3 short stacks left. [Jc 4d 9h Ah] [6d] got me back to a little more comfortable level and left ahnil8er with 75 chips which went away in the next hand.

4 handed A10mechs had 12k and shur1k3n was at about 5K leaving iconians and I to fight out the bubble with me at 4K and him at 2K. Iconians put his life on the line with AJ all in and A10mechs called with AK. Iconians called out to the Poker Stars gods and they heard him, giving him the J on the flop to stay alive and take A10's stack down a little.

My next big hand was QJo in the BB. No raises preflop. Flop was K105 giving me the open ender. Iconians bet 450 and just because it had been good to me before I gave it a run after shur1k3n folded. A on the turn gave me the straight, I bet 1200, he called. I had no idea how good his hand was until he reraised me all in after the 6 fell on the river. I instacalled and his AA was cracked. That put me in a pretty big lead (13K) with A10mechs (6K) and shur1k3n (3k) left.

Shur1k3n's A6 on a board of 345 ran into A10mechs KK and in another PS miracle, the KK held giving Shur1k3n 3rd place.

After this hand I was propositioned by some idiot observer. Summary of chat follows:

Crisp_King [observer] said, "Bogey, could you plz help me out bro?"
Crisp_King [observer] said, "my stack is about 0.10 cent, i really need a buck for the 45 mans sit and go"
Crisp_King [observer] said, "xould you plz help me?"
Bogey419 said, "LMAO"
Crisp_King [observer] said, "okay, i dont know that LMAO menas"
Bogey419 said, "it means no"
ahnil8er [observer] said, "i got 0.01 if you want crisp king"

Heads up A10mechs and I was pretty even in chips when I caught KK with a flop of J73. I bet, he raised, I re-raised and he called. Turn was an A and that's when my blood pressure went up. I KNEW he was holding an A there. I checked and of course he bet out. I called knowing I was beat. 10 on the river and I checked again, hoping to save a few chips, he bet out and I tanked for a while and finally called just to make sure I was right. Low and behold, he turned over 75o and I had a massive chip stack.

3 hands later I raised from the button with J5, just trying to abuse his small stack. He min raised me back and I called. Q73 two hearts on the flop gave me air but he checked and I checked. 5 on the turn giving me a pair so after he checked to me, I believed I had the best of it and bet enough to put him all in. I hadn't even finished clicking when he called and got that sinking feeling when he turned over AAโ€ฆ My four outer came on the river for 3 of a kind 5's for the win

Week 5 writeup (by shuriken)
My return after weeks of 'retirement' from the SD.net weekly tournament and a wild-card bounty on my head ended up being a win for me and I would like to take this time to remind Shoagie that: you owe me a dime!

The game started off to a good start when I doubled from Bessie calling my re-raises all the way down and my all-in at the river with K9 to my KK with a 7598K community in the fifth hand of the game.

Few hands later we saw another FH with GP's 2s full Ts, but iconians and I avoided getting in too much trouble and he took down a $130 pot FTW!

Next noteworthy hand was trip killing GP's KK with his 88 (with a four card straight) to take down a decent size pot.

Lots of bluffing for me from then on for about 10-15 hands got me to about a 4k stack and lots of outdraws and poor calls(?) by iconians put him at 1k until we faced off in hand #26. I put him all-in after a Jxx flop with AJo and he double off me after showing KK.

After that, I took down a decent pot again from trip after bluffing the pair Ks to his pocket Js the first time, this time with 9s (paired on the flop) and 4s to his 6s (pocket) and 4s before the tables merged to a 1-table. I lost a huge pot to the hand against icon, but still stood 2nd in chips next to chess.

Eventually, I faced off against chess (high stack) with QQ and took a 2.4k pot from him.

I stayed out of trouble when GP turn'd his straight and pushed and another big hand was lylac with KK winning a 1.9k pot against chess.

Next big hand was icon's all-in with AQ and QJx flop against a10's QJ which left him with $20, then he was taken out in 9th place few hands later by GP.

Chess went all in with 7s and was shut down by a10s Js to finish 8th.

I was chip leader with about 5k and hit a 4 card straight with pocket Ts after trip flopped two pairs (you can't cry 'cuz you did the same to GP earlier) which left him with 140 chipsโ€ฆnot sure why I didn't put him all-in instead of betting 1500 on the river. Next hand, RL took him out.

More hands, more mix of bluffing and hitting, and I found myself at 6.9k < like 69 and flopped top pair with a flush draw. RL check called me on the flop, bet on the turn, and pushed all-in on the river where he showed Ac9c to my Kc6c after the Tc gave us both a flush on the river and I lost a 5.5k pot there and found myself down about 1.3k in chips from leader.

Next hand I took 7d6d to 3x, flopped J76, and jen called my $800 flop bet which put her all in with JTo and my 76 held to bring us down to two away from money.

Best redemption hand was Lylac's AJo hitting a 3-outer J on the turn, then GP hitting his 7-outer K giving him straight with his AQo pocket.

I somehow was leader again and found myself in a hand again GP who was chasing a gutshot straight draw with 5c4c against my Kc3c. I bet pot and he called on the flop (Ac 2d 7c), we checked on the turn (Ks), and he pushed after my $750 raise on the river (Kh) to put us in the moneyโ€ฆgg.

I now had a significant chip lead, 11.5k to RL's 4.7 and a10's 1.7 in 3-way. I tried to protect my stack and found myself bouncing between 10k and 12k.

Eventually I played AQo 4x BB preflop, called a 5x BB raise on the flop, and a 4x BB raise on the turn and found myself up against a10's QTo for 5.2k which put me at 13-14k against two 2k stack players.

Finally, a10 and RL faced off. RL who held AsTc flopped Qc Jh 7c and turned 6c and had "more outs than God" as icon put it, but found himself missing on the river and left with $250.

I put him all-in next hand with 99 against his 45o, but a community 333AA ruined my hand!

Few hands later, he went all-in with $200, both a10 and I called, checked it across and a10s two pair took out RL.

Heads up lasted only 11 hands, but last hand was exciting. AJo against A6o to a T87 flop gave a10 only a 3 outer (to win) on the flop and 4 outer (to tie) on the turn after I hit my jack.

Thanks for the awesome game, guys and gals!

Week 4 writeup (by Lylac Crazy)

Ok. Week 4 had a turnout of 13 players. The table I was at started out nice and slow, nobody going crazy until BigJohn must have gotten bored and went down to 300 chips in one shot. Amazingly he double up a couple of times and had chip average within 5 minutes of losing them. Noone went out at our table and I was moved to the other table keeping my >2000 chips. This was a long slow match, people taking there time dropping out. Finally at the final table things got a little exciting. Daveddd took out bbrunick and RL in one shot, and took his second bounty. (hopefully I have my facts right. Doing this by memory) Now after the second break things went quick. Blinds were big, so more all-ins were played. Little luck here and there puts the match with BigJohn, big stack, and myself. I catch a pair of Kings and slow play them and he goes all in. After that win we both just go all-in to end it. Thanx Lylac Crazy (eegman)

Week 3 writeup (by Killerbootsman)

So uhhh... yeahhh. I started off slow early and my chip stack dwindled down to about $850 before I won a big hand against moviemogul. Some bobbyfk commentary led to a nice heads up match between him and BigJohn. After the first break me and chessmany3k were at the top of the leaderboards. Rammy was knocked out right before the final table. Me and chessmany were still at the top with about 6k each. I scored a big pot when I knocked out iconian with AQ vs QK.

Played it slow from there, waiting for it to get down to the final 3-4. It took a while but it finally came down to me, chessman3k, bigjohn, and giantpeach. Giant peach landed on the bubble after john's J3 beat his K8.

Chips leader chessmany3k was all but knocked out no less than 3 hands later after my K9 outlasted his K6. This doubled me up at about 19k and gave me a 3x chip advantage going into heads-up. I'll admit that bigjohn outplayed me in heads up as the chip stacks even out at 12k a piece. Hands went back in forth until I decided it was time to go all-in and see where it takes me.

I was all but farked to start things out with my JQ against his KJ. Flop and turn brought junk before the river said no to back-to-back wins for bigjohn.

Week 2 writeup (by Big John)

Chessmany by this time has already shot up to 4500 chips and when I got moved to his table I knew it would be an interesting game. My first major opponent was movie mogel who started giving me a hard time with a mini raise on a king high board. I wanted to call figured he had trash but I didn't even have a draw. A couple hands later he tried to do it again to me but this time I had a straight and was going no where. After several hands both Chessmany and I had built our chips to 8000. Then the fun began "final table" This was no ordinary table chessy and I were going at it like crazy when technically both of us could of sat till the money but that is no fun though. One hand in paticular blind vs blind chess raises so I just smooth call with K5 to flop top a king I decide to just call his huge overbet to see what he does next only to flop a 5 then another. I loved the comment I got from him play about playing trash. We continued to go at it while clearing the table till we went heads up and I get pocket Js make my normal raise get called, flop a jack normal bet which I figured Chessy would call ( he had been flatting me all night), I check the turn knowing chessman was going to go for the steal and I reeled in my fish.

Week 1 writeup (by Rammie)
Week 1 writeup: Amazing what a load of the shoulders it was to let go of the tournament reigns and be able to kick back with a bottle of wine and just play poker for awhile.
Games like this are certainly appreciated when you have gone several weeks drawing dead with cards just good enough to lose.
I used As to knock off Iconian and then slow-played Ks into a full house against Lylac ftw.

Curiously enough, A9 ruled the night (although I only won with it on a bluff from the button) as several folks caught tripps with it to include my old buddy tripp who busted out on the bubble while I was refilling my glass. I'm pretty sure he did this to avoid letting me take the 2nd bounty of the nice. Damn you, damn you! Ranting

Fun night though with folks showing KJo, JJ, 3s and a variety of bluffs. This was fun, thanks guys

How Points are Awarded:

This spreadsheet uses the PokerStars TLB ranking formula. I've modified it to give points to every player that plays each week, not just the top 15%. That rewards participation more than average finish. It therefore encourages folks to show up every week and have a good time.

The formula used to determine the total points awarded to a player for any given tournament is:

Points = 10 * [sqrt(n)/sqrt(k)] * [1+log(b+0.25)]

Where:
n is the number of entrants
k is the place of finish (k=1 for the first-place finisher, and so on)
b is the buy-in amount in dollars (excluding PS administrative fee).[/QUOTE]

I need an excellent job too. Until then, maybe I'll just try bringing home some SD poker dollars.

You do know this is now going to happen again and someone is going to drill a 10 J Q rainbow flop on you Smilie

Def a crazy hand though. I'm hard pressed to believe the guy folded KK though. I'd believe it if that larger chip stack reraised your all in BEFORE his action....but since it was after that, I'm not buying that he doesn't call you with KK. If so it was excellently done.
