Yes and those categories are fine. Most of your coupons will be for online/in store but online will not be good for TV's or electronics (XBox One/PS4 etc...).

You will only get 1 coupon (per registry) that is good for electronics and that will be for in store only.

Created a baby registry and college registry last year and never received any coupons. They say check back in 1 day, and they've said that forever now.

Yeah, I'm with you. I don't even like it when people use that mover's coupon dishonestly. (from best buy I guess).

Unless I'm totally reading it wrong, it's intended for people who legitimately are moving.

Oh well.

If you don't like it move on - if this is how people want to spend their time to save it's up to them, they might be in a position where they legitimately need the savings for the family or children or they just want to save a little off the top. Target will be fine, I'm sure everyone will sleep well at night and Target will still make profit - hell just moving inventory is good for them.

That's the rationale of the welfare cheat. "Oh the government spends 4 trillion dollars a year. who cares if I take a few hundred every month" "no big deal", "statistical rounding error" blah blah.

The problem with this being posted now on SD is that it will gain traction around the deal websites, Target will see it, and they will change their process to stop this from happening. Sometimes the best loopholes are worth keeping close to the vest, I have known about this deal for some time.

Target and every other major retailer that do this kind of registry and then completion bonus, are well aware that people do this. Posting it on SD is not going to make them change their policy. These stores make anywhere from 30% to 95% profit on every item they sell. If the company really cared that people would abuse the system, they wouldn't put it into place to begin with, they are well aware of the risks.

Well I pay taxes, I'm not using this "loophole", I am defending the right of others to do it if they want to spend their time on it. It's not my business nor is it yours and I'm not interested in fighting on the internet over something as silly as this.
