I'm sure it's been mentioned and buried but extended warranty benefit goes away next month which sucks
Uhh yeah I have an Amex, this is not true lol
I'm sure citi fought hard in the bidding process to beat Amex to get the Costco account. Part of the terms were probably to offer better benefits for the customer....

when will they start accepting VISA? i know it says June 20th for the Costco Visa but will they accept other VISA cards before that? Im thinking of my chase freedom thatll have 5% back at warehouse stores starting in April
Nope...they won't accept any visa until june 20th. It's still only Amex.
i normally use my own Amex, not Costco Amex. Should i apply Costco visa or just use visa cards i already own include: freedom, slate, prefered, diamond citi, etc.. will i get same benefits?
I had a serious doubt about the credit limit carry forward from Amex to Citi.
If I had $1000 credit limit , do I get the SAME or a better(as per my credit score now) ? Not sure about it

If you use a different brand Visa, you will get whatever benefits that card offers, which is definitely not the same as what was stated in the OP. Depending on promotions, there may be certain occasions where using another card could be better, but overall, this is a pretty good package.
I like to use my Avery label maker to put a label on my cards to remind me which one offers which benefits (including temporary promos) so that I'm sure to use the best card for the particular purchase.
Thanks, and Rep'd OP. I don't like the fact that it's an automatic switch. That's great for those who want a seamless switch and WANT a Citi card. I, however, don't.
Partially be outsourcing customer service to India. AmEx keeps it all American.
Well, it's not just customercare all other business services including marketing and sg&a of Chase, Citi, Amazon are outsourced from a long term. I guess Amex has to start looking into it to be in the business... Costco and Starwood deals are going to hit them hard.

My citi forward currently still gives me 5x points for restaurants and Amazon.
edit: found it http://frequentmiler.b
This is a major bummer! I suppose I can use Costco Visa for dining out and Sallie Mae master card for Amazon purchases.
