I'm sure it's been mentioned and buried but extended warranty benefit goes away next month which sucks
Uhh yeah I have an Amex, this is not true lol
I'm sure citi fought hard in the bidding process to beat Amex to get the Costco account. Part of the terms were probably to offer better benefits for the customer....

I doubt OS has anything to do with it. Have you tried using their app? Maybe that'll allow you to set emailt/text alerts.
spoke with tech support. he said they're working on the fix for alerts. it's a known issue with all citi costco card users, and a priority which will take about 1-2 days to fix.
My AmEx month closed June 13 with a balance of $X. My Citi account showed up today with that $X amount due July 9, I think. I paid $X to Citi, and it now shows $0 due.
In other words, I had to pay Citi, and I doubt you should pay AmEx. It's worth a call/chat, but just log into your Citibank.com account first and see what it says. If it says there's an amount due, go ahead and pay Citi.
Ok, that's weird. Just yesterday I got my AmEx bill in the mail. There is a note in there about the transition, but it should have said explicitly that after Jun 20, I should pay this balance to Citi, not AmEx. I'm not worried about it though.
I got my card plenty early and had no trouble activating it, though I haven't used it yet.
Same here, no issues. But I know two families personally that haven't received their cards.
I guess on a transfer of this magnitude, some issues are to be expected. Surely Citi's customer service (which has a poor reputation anyways) isn't always up to par.
Sorry, if I missed this... Does membership auto-renewal using CITI Costco Visa earn 2%? How about with Chase (5% next quarter)? My membership will renew in August, and I'd like to take advantage of the 5% if that transactions is classified as "purchase".
Does anyone know at what percentages will the charges forwarded by AmEx be processed for CB? Maybe someone whose statement closed after the transition could answer this.

I would assume that the cash back was processed by AmEx at time of purchase at their reward rates, though I don't know that for sure. You're right that the cash back is processed at the end of the month, so it might be processed at the new Citi rates.
Also, I just got an email from Citi that included:
•Payments – If you made a payment to your previous issuer before June 20, 2016, this payment will be transferred and processed within approximately 10 business days. Citi won't be assessing late fees for payments due June 20‑July 31, 2016.
Now I know why I couldn't create an account online with Citi since last week: they don't take special characters for both User Name and Password. I was forced to use just upper/lower case and numbers. How secure is it?
I never got my citi card. Amex says they sent over my info and citi said they never got it. This is dumb, very, very dumb.
Wow. Take it up with Costco. Ultimately, they should bear the responsibility. If they tell you "use any other Visa," ask them to credit you CB on purchases until this gets fixed.
Has anyone made a return on the new citi card yet? We returned something onto the citi card that we purchased with the amex. It's been more than a day and it hasn't shown up yet. Does citi always take this long on returns?

I was thinking the same thing. I'm planning to make a return at Costco tonight, which was purchased on my AmEx. I may ask if they can just give me a Costco cash card, which I'll use immediately after for my shopping.

There is a problem, though, that mint.com is no longer updating ANY Citi accounts (except midnight to 6am EDT). Details:
